We went to see Toni childs in concert at the Burnie arts centre and she was incredible, I highly recommend. The venue is very nice indeed the foyer has a very high ceiling nice lighting and has a feeling of being modern and calm. The auditorium has a high ceiling I'm assuming that is used for a variety of uses , the seating on our night were stackable Style of chair a bit too small and hard for my liking it would be nice to have a style chair, the sound system in the auditorium was fantastic a nice strong and powerful sound , overall a decent venue, they also sell alcohol and soft drinks and snacks.

Th Box was very x rated show we were told it was a adult only production but it was more than that very disappointing very racist about the way people living in government housing being & x housie myself back in the 80s & being solo mum of 3 l find it very insulating just because people in housing are finding life a struggle not all residents are drugies or alcoholics just trying to do their best in a tough situation so next time you decide to run people down for being poor check out the situation before hand the foal language was shocking if that is the next generation coming god help us

Fantastic show. (human nature) but can't believe how cramped the seats (on balcony I can't speak for the rest) are...and I'm only 5ft3.
I know it's an older venue but I felt like I was sitting in the back of a mini cooper. No leg room at all
