Just spent 4 days here on a surfing retreat. The whole experience was amazing- highly recommended. Xahlia and the team are so welcoming and created a brilliant long weekend, balancing activity and fun with quiet and relaxation. The food was so delicious- fresh and generous. There were lovely walks in the native garden, many spaces to relax or to socialise, and the rooms are large, beautifully comfortable and quiet.

The best weekend ever.
Xahlia and her team are so welcoming and supportive, they are there to answer any questions, hold zero judgement and are there to encourage you on every wave!
From beginners to advance surfers the coaches have your back.
The food is incredible! Every meal is cooked with so much love and filled with all the nutrition you could think of.
Oh and the beds are sooo comfy!
Most incredible spot to relax and enjoy fun waves and company.

I stayed at this beautiful retreat for a women's surf retreat. The whole space has been thoughtfully designed to provide a high standard accommodation with a laid back vibe. The staff are super friendly and would give you their shirt off their back if it meant your stay was more comfortable. They were really knowledgeable and enthusiastic surfers and provided lots of advice and tips for where to head out.
The food was AMAZING - clean, simple but delicious.
I would highly recommend booking a retreat at Surfaris ?‍♀️

I have been at Surfaris Crescent Head a few times, basically for surf retreats and for a wedding I have to say I loved it! the place is beautiful, peaceful, so close to town, the owners are amazing, great surf guides always providing with the best advice and energy for the day, really helpful and relaxed. The food we ate was next level! During the retreat I couldn't wait for meal time every day to enjoy another amazing and delicious meal. I had the best time there and I have a very lovely memories of my staying at surfaris, I can't recommend it enough wether you want to go for a holidays or host your wedding there, you have anything you need there to host all your guest, rooms, a bar, a pool, the beach to surf 3 minutes away, different surf options around depending on winds and also surrounded by nature.

My partner and I are heading to Australia for a month from Belgium. To surprise him for his birthday I found the Holistic Surf & Wellness Retreat on the Surfaris website. It was going to be held from 26 Jan to 29 Jan 2024. I decided to save up and eventually booked it through the website in November 2023. I paid for it and got a confirmation email. I then obviously went ahead with booking domestic flights and booking accommodations in the area around that time. Suddenly it went very quiet on Surfaris' end so I emailed them. No reply. Two weeks later I asked them to reconfirm again because I was worried. They emailed me back saying the retreat got cancelled and I shouldn't have been able to book it in the first place. They reimbursed the amount.

I understand mistakes happen but I did explain to them about the birthday gift, planning our route around the location of the retreat, the flights that had already been booked, all because they confirmed. They replied that there is nothing they can do and they are completely within their rights to cancel for any reason. They also hid behind the fact that it was a third party organising this retreat so they had nothing to with it. No compensation, no solution. Great work guys.

We spent one week at Surfaris with our friends and it was AMAZING! The rooms were great for families and the pool was stunning. Brendon & Xhalia went above and beyond to look after us all with delicious food and cocktails. Highly recommend this place. I can't wait to go back!

Came for the weekend and ended up extending for the whole week. Weekend away with my partner turned into a 6 day holiday. The rooms were spacious, clean with amazing temperature control. Highly recommend a sunset cocktail before dinner near the pool. Food was incredible from unique Mexican spreads to warm Indian curries on a cold night. The team were excellent in adapting and creating a unique atmosphere to every occasion or weather condition. Can’t wait to book my next trip up here!
