This concerns the townhouse,in the centre of the town of Smithton,as distinct from the cottages a few kilometres out of town.Although on the main road,it is almost completely free of road noise as there is little traffic and it is down a driveway 30 to 40 metres. Those hoping for a nice view will be disappointed,as it overlooks industrial buildings rather than pleasant countryside. But it is only 500 metres from a Woolworths.Everything else is measured in superlatives.Cleverly designed to maximise an already generous floor area(80square metres?)it’s decor is I would guess the work of a skilled interior designer. It is fitted out to a high standard, near new and quality throughout. There is a washing machine and dryer.A fully equiped kitchen. The kind owner surprised us with some basic foodstuffs.I would urge anyone considering staying at Stanley to consider this as an alternative.Smithton may not be a noted tourist destination, but it is very handy to Stanley,Arthur River,Woolnorth and indeed all the Nor’west.Comfort, style and great value for money!

We stayed 3 nights - the cottage was quiet, clean, well designed and very comfortable. Great quest facilities i.e. laundry, parking and BBQ. We did find there was too much "stuff/ornaments/decor"inside the cottage and found this detracted from the ambience, space and safety. Mats on the floor could cause potential trip hazards. Whilst it was lovely having a spa bath, as an older couple we found it difficult getting into/out of the spa bath/show and would recommend a grab rail being installed. We did have a lovely relaxed stay - thank you.

We can only repeat what others have said. We believed we had booked a Brooks Road cottage only to find we had been allocated the Smithton townhouse which is nothing like a cottage and of which there was no mention on our booking confirmation. There are external stairs at the townhouse. Difficult for us over 70's to climb in the wet with suitcases. The driveway is also steep and dangerous to back out of, but turning around in the allocated parking is not possible when there are two cars there if Rosie's Cottage is also occupied. So great care is needed in booking to ensure you get the Rosie's accommodation that suits you best. But more care is also needed by Rosie's (as also mentioned by others ) with their cleaning. Really not good enough - particularly the more difficult bits like the stove, rangehood, washing machine, pots & pans. The townhouse though is reasonably comfortable, has a great shower, and is conveniently located. It is on Smithton's main road though which means some traffic noise and the bus yards next door also create some noise as 15 or so school buses roll out at 7.30 am. Difficult and disappointing for us and we would not stay at the Townhouse again.

We only stayed one night in Rosie's Townhouse in Goldie Street Smithton and WOW !! What a beautiful apartment with everything you could want. Beautifully appointed and decorated. Fresh bread, continental breakfast and a comfortable bed. All at a great price. Will definitely stay again.

We had the pleasure of an extended stay at Rosebank Cottage. It is in a great location to access Smithton, Stanley and North West. The Cottages are clean, well equipped and lovingly cared for. The owner was extremely accommodating and friendly. We can not recommend the Rosebank collection more highly.

World class. Very high quality with everything you will need and more. A model for other holiday rentals. Lovely gardens and grounds. Very relaxing, but if you are prepared to look around the Smithton outskirts you will be rewarded. You must visit Chudleigh.

A very homely, comfy and peaceful cottage. I loved the surroundings as well. So relaxing and quiet. The retro look in the cottage was fabulous. The garden is well maintained. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Accommodation was clean, very neat and the grounds were in perfect condition. The owner was friendly and the whole experience was very relaxing. We stayed in one of the Brooks Road old world type cottages. The facilities were excellent and inviting.
