Great inexpensive find here. As others have said, the rooms are newly renovated, comfortable and away from the highway unlike most others along the coast road.
Our room was above the pool table in the pub below, although with the TV on in the room and pub closure at 10pm there was no issue. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The service was excellent. When I needed help with the TV it was given at once and everything explained and demonstrated.The room was excellent, well presented, clean and with appropriate appliances. The bed was great. The toilet and shower facilities were clean, well appointed and functioned perfectly. The one thing I would recommend is a hand rail by the toilet to assist people like me with arthritis to get on and off the toilet easily and safely. Another is instructions on the use of the TV remote control.The staff I dealt with were polite, friendly and very helpful when that was needed.

Lovely modern room in a fabulous old style hotel. Very clean with great heater, electric blanket and large screen tv. Helpful staff. Can recommend.

Went for Sunday lunch so can't rate the rooms.
Good choice of the usual pub meals at fair prices, friendly staff and very quick meal service. Easy and decent amount of off street parking.
Worth dropping in for a meal.

It was just a stop over for us. Typical pub room, very basic but was pleasantly surprised how clean the room was. Coffee. Tea and a couple of biscuits provided in the room, with some plates and cutlery if you decide to get in takeaway. They don't serve food there, but there's a few places around that do.

Very good budget accommodation, good value for money, hot shower and a warm bed, a little noisey but it’s a pub after all, had a band playing below but didn’t wake our 3 year old, the room was well prepared and presented, plenty of places to see around the area, good central spot. ||Awesome bakery down the road. ||The only thing is the bin could be a little bigger. ||We’ll definitely be back for a stop over.
