We had a wonderful stay at this stunning lodge during our honeymoon in Tassie. The room was luxurious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities we could possibly need — plus a complimentary bottle of champagne and even a massage chair! The location is truly something special, nestled right in the heart of the wilderness — it felt like we were completely immersed in nature.

The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. While the food was on the pricier side, it was absolutely delicious. Dinner was served a bit later than expected, but there were plenty of fun activities to keep us entertained in the meantime, including a games room and animal feeding sessions.

We’ll definitely be back — this place made our honeymoon unforgettable!

This is ecotourism at its finest! The lovely resort staff proudly describe how the long term vision for sharing and preserving pristine wilderness was achieved by the early 1990’s. The cabins are comfy and authentic. The gas ‘log’ heater and underfloor heating in the bathroom were a pleasure and the on-site bush walks were just beautiful (ranging from easy to moderate grade). The restaurant is lovely, and the food and wine was reasonably priced. We loved the entrees and deserts. If you order the risotto just ask for knob of butter, some Parmesan and cracked pepper. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars was the road in - although well maintained, we found the drive pretty nerve wracking. The two way route was narrow with sheer edges. Take sunnies in the morning (driving into sun) and don’t arrive too early (to avoid guests checking out). Then again, we are from the NT, most guests didn’t seem to flinch. Thanks Lemonthyme.

We had a fantastic stay at Lemonthyme Wilderness Retreat. The views were absolutely stunning – a perfect spot to unwind and take in the natural beauty. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Dinner and dessert were delicious, with generous portions and great flavours. It’s also super convenient being so close to Cradle Mountain. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful escape in the wilderness!

We loved our stay here. The forest and waterfalls are great. The staff are super friendly. The breakfasts were good however the main meal was very pricey at $45 a plate for a pork belly that you as tasty but the vegetables wre not cooked well and were scant. Other than that would definitely go again.

Lemonthyme Lodge is a fantastic experience. The unsealed access road is a fantastic drive in itself, being well kept and maintained, suitable for any type of vehicle. The lodge location is fantastic, being far from other traffic and artificial light so that this interference is totally absent, being amongst nature, which is what it is all about. The facilities and cabins are fantastic, having been quality built with pride, and well maintained. The cabin facilities are superb. The dinner was of an exceptional standard, and the breakfast was also excellent. All the staff were most friendly and welcoming, and it was a great pleasure to have spent a night here. Keep up the great work and standard.

The cabin was very comfortable and had a newly renovated bathroom which was lovely. Quite expensive at over $870.00 for two nights for three people sharing a cabin. It was only a short walk to the main lodge for dinner we had booked which was nice. |Dinner was terribly disappointing for the $59.00 minimum charge per person, with stone cold vegetables of which some were very undercooked. The risotto was like porridge and served luke warm with only three pieces of broccoli with it (COLD). |Breakfast was lovely, as were all of the staff. After speaking to three staff we did manage to have these dinners removed dinner removed from our bill which was great customer service.

What a beautiful unique setting, our room was warm and comfortable. We got great support from the friendly and engaged staff, food was delish and there are lovely walks around the lodge to top it all off. Access to Cradle Mountain buses was just over 30mins. Will be back!

My partner and I were lucky enough to be able to experience a night in the most amazing spa retreat room, with a breathtaking view from our personal deck, complimentary champagne, 2 of the most amazing meals cooked personally by their world class chef, the staff and most specifically Tracey could not have been any more accomodating if she tried! This was in all the best “hotel” stay we could have ever imagined.
