Highly recommended! Amazing romantic getaway. Beautiful and quirky touches in the cottage. Cute and friendly miniature goats. Great to see sustainable farming in practice. Owners are very generous with tasty snacks - the farm grown apples were delicious!

It was cuteness overload! My baby loved patting the baby goats! Definitely a must-do when you're travelling the North West Coast of Tasmania. Lisa and Brad were absolute hosts sharing so many info about the animals and GOOD farming. The location was easy to find!

Brad and Lisa were the best hosts and super generous with all their offerings. We loved visiting the animals and seeing the gorgeous farm at work! The cottage was so cosy and inviting with special touches and everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time. Hideaway Farmlet is in the optimal location for visiting other small towns in the area, but Penguin itself as a town is so charming and lots to do and explore. Thanks again, Brad and Lisa, and we’ll be back to see it in a different season and meet the newly arrived baby goats!

My family visited Hideaway Farmlet for a mini goat experience. it was fantastic. My toddler was so engaged and really enjoyed interacting with the farm animals. Brad and Lisa were super informative and knowledgeable on the farm practices and the local area. They were very friendly and welcoming. They ended the experience with some home made goodies and fresh coffee!

We had the most amazing stay at the gorgeous Hideaway Farmlet. The cottage was very clean and super cute with lots of little touches added that were appreciated. Brad & Lisa were the perfect hosts and being able to watch the farm animals feed and pat the miniature goats was a highlight. Thanks again for letting us experience your beautiful cottage & farm!

My wife and I both stayed and did the miniature goat experience. It was honestly the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend, to anyone travelling to Tassie. Lisa and Brad are both lovely people and care about their animals. The miniature goat experience was very educational and very informative. They really do deserve more than 5 stars 🌟

Hideaway farm is a great getaway. Brad and Lisa are warm and generous hosts. The cottage is a gem for a couple and it’s a stone’s throw from Penguin waterfront. The mini goats experience was a joy, hearing about regenerative farming and seeing how well cared for their herd are. Highly recommend taking the opportunity to visit and stay.

I truly dont know where to start. What an amazing experience.

Lisa and Brads cottage is so cosy and unique. You can just spend hours in there looking around and reading all the interesting things.

It has everything you need to know about the area. No need to google.

The important information we received in the emails before we even got there was really a sign of how accommodating this stay was going to be.

Thankyou Lisa for everything you did in the cottage to make this stay as unforgettable as it was and thankyou Brad for taking the time in your busy day to have us tag along for a tour around your farm.

We wish you all the best for your future plans.
