We loved our hidden wooden cabin with the log fire. It was so peaceful and we saw lots of wildlife which was amazing. You feel like you are miles away from everyone and everything but everything is stil at your fingertips. Everything you need can be found in the cabin including some coffee grinds for the coffee pot. But the best bit of it all was arriving to our cabin with the wood fire already burning away, it was a wonderful surprise and very welcomed. We would definitely come back and stay again.

We had a beautiful 3 night stay in the Quoll cabin. So quiet in the bush with pademelons hopping around the cabin and a very efficient wood burner. We will definitely come back! The cabin was equipped for basic cooking and there was access to a laundry with washing machine and dryer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy and warm. Highly recommend this gem of a place tucked amongst the trees.

For a great getaway at an affordable price, I highly recommend the Highlanders Cabins. They’re in a perfect location—right in the heart of everything. Whether you prefer to walk or take a quick two-minute drive, the Highlanders Cabins are a convenient and comfortable choice for all.

During my stay at the Highlanders Cabins, I encountered a variety of wildlife, including wombats, possums, and Tasmanian devils. The fact that the information center is just a five-minute walk away makes the experience even more convenient.

The cabin itself is beautiful and incredibly relaxing. I stayed in the Tallowwood Cabin, which is perfect for a small group of friends or even a family. I personally loved it. There's a wood fire heater that warms the entire space, and you're provided with plenty of tea, coffee, and other essentials. However, what truly sets this cabin apart is the spa bath. After a long day of hiking, coming back and soaking in the spa was absolutely heavenly.

Woodsmoke cabin was so cosy and private. We loved relaxing in front of the fire and watching the pademolons outside our dining window over breakfast. All necessary equipment was provided for self catering. Perfect location to explore Cradle Mountain. You can easily walk to the visitors centre then hop on to the shuttle to take you into the National Park. We stayed for 4 nights and did different hikes each day. Can't wait to come back.

Wonderful cabins. Been back many times. Very conveniently located near the Visitor Centre for catching buses down into the park and purchasing tickets etc. Very helpful, friendly staff. Wood fire is wonderful with plenty of wood supplied. Great kitchen facilities so you can self cater if you want to. Very comfortable beds.

Fantastic cabins in the wood. So well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen to self cater. The rooms were warmed ready for our arrival. Quiet area, very clean cabins. Communication was fantastic. We will definitely return to Cradle Highlander.

The best accommodation experience you can have at Cradle Mountain . We absolutely love the well equipped room and self contained rooms, especially the full stocked firewood and the fireplace.

The location is minutes walk from information center so convenient if you intend to take shuttle bus to the national park.
Will definitely come back again.

Cute little cabin with everything we needed. Comfortable, very clean, good beds, nice little kitchen, and a lovely fire going when we arrived. Excellent location, good value. We arrived after hours and our key was waiting for us. Wi-Fi provided but didn't ever work. To be fair I didn't contact front desk to let them know as we had good cell service.
