Amazing floating sauna by the water. Nice and hot inside, followed by jumping into the cool lake. Such an amazing experience, do it! Be sure to book in advance though! I just wish they had a hot tub or something as well. Awesome experience!

A beautiful bush track leads you to the black sauna building and white changing rooms, floating above freshwater for a calming and unique escape. The sauna’s heat is on the milder side, great for beginners but less so for those seeking an intense sweat. Keep in mind, the hour-long booking includes changing time, so arrive in swimmers ready to go, and note that a staff member is present throughout, which might feel less private for couples or solo visitors. While it’s a bit of a drive if you’re visiting solely for the sauna, the tranquil setting makes it well worth it. Enjoy 🤌🏼♨️🧖‍♂️

Amazing experience that I’ve been looking forward to. It lived up to expectations. Beautiful hot sauna (80-90 degrees), friendly host, and swimming in the surprisingly warm (for Tasmania) lake. Thank you so much.

We came in winter and it was beautiful but definitely chilly. We went for a walk to the sauna which was about 10min away and it was lovely but it was closed when we were there. It was $45pp and max 5 in the sauna from what we saw we thought we could just get there and buy but best to book! I think it’s a beautiful lake and great for picnic but we just came for a little bit and went to the next part of our trip!

Place was beautiful. Picturesque views. The guy who welcomed us was friendly. We jumped into the lake multiple times. We put forth others to beat our record of 10 jumps into the freezing water. Place had an amazing sauna and private changing section. Would’ve loved to have the fire pit on after our one hour session to just relax. Toilets could be considered to be put close to the area (maybe there’s a reason why they haven’t). Overall, amazing place and highly recommend.

Had a fantastic post-ride sauna and dip in Lake Derby. Loved the quiet as the sun set, the incredibly refreshing hot-cold experience and the relaxed post-sauna fuzz that ensured a great sleep afterwards. Definitely book so you don't miss out!

We booked and had the sauna to ourselves. A bit over 10 minute walk to get there. James was ready and waiting for us, he explained the heat , the steam rocks and when most people choose to refresh in the cold water.
Sauna was about 90 degrees Celsius and the water 21 degrees.
Come out super relaxed with no more aches.
What a magical place to spend an hour.
