Terrible rooms and service, basically stayed in room for 10 mins and left, and my wife tried to hand keys back but they had locked the door so we put it in the returns box, we rang them on way out and they said they will refund the room cost but still awaiting.
smelt like cigarettes, not clean at all,shower had soap scum all over it, bedding was old and worn, outdated and no towles provided. Looked and felt more like a dorm room than a villa.
We waited a few days and no refund, i rang and they asked what time we,d left and dropped key's. We told them 10 minutes after we collected the keys, they then said the room had been trashed and the tv stolen, emplying we had done this.
When we told them we were more than happy to provide dash cam footage of us arriving and leaving they then said no no no no im not saying you done it, we will give a refund through bookings.com, we are still waiting for the refund.
Terrible terrible service, would not recomend!
I seen in their previous reviews they were threatening another customer with defermation, thanks owners we may look into this ourselves after you acusing us of trashing your room when we have evidence we didnt!
We'll be keeping watch for our refund!

$250 a night for absolute filth in a family room.Floors not vacuumed or washed. Dirt accumulated in all corners and between the fridge and stove. Bathroom has not been cleaned in months. Absolutely disgusting and couldn't shower in the filth. Even the toilet roll holder was covered in dirt and fluff. Window in one bedroom won't close. Stairs have no backs, making it extremely dangerous for small children. No gates on stairs, top or bottom. First room they put us in with 5 children, had no couch, just metal dining chairs. That was filthy as well.
Absolutely disgraceful and will never stay there again.

Sheets & pillow slips were stained, I wouldn't let my dog sit on the 2xtub chairs in the main sitting area along with the coffee table all need to be binned, we bought some sheets from Kmart for our 1 night stay. A coat of paint, new linen and some scrubbing this place would be ok. If I could have organised accommodation elsewhere I would have as the whole town appeared to be fully booked.|I have sent an email to the admin contact on the website with photos, they didn't reply!

Stayed in apartment style room (room 18) and had the following issues:

-Musty smell and had no air-conditioning despite online saying it did.
-No screen doors and the latch on the sliding door was not very secure at all
-No window screens, even in the upstairs kids room where windows opened wide onto the roof
-Shower was old and had mould, bad drainage and ended up standing in a pool of water
-Toilet seet poorly installed so could barely sit on it
-Very small and uncomfortable beds
-Banister on stairs was not safe

On the positive, staff were happy to not charge for the 3 nights I had to cancel when we found somewhere else to stay, but offered no discount for the night that we did. Apparently they're renovating (there was a sign on the counter stating this AFTER I complained and requested an air conditioned room).

Absolutely everything was wonderful, especially the service. The rooms were fresh and clean, well equipped and had air conditioning, the pool was clean, there was a barbecue area and arcade, laundry facilities. Could not fault a single thing... Except the mattresses. If you're the sort of person who can sleep anywhere then this won't be a problem but if an uncomfortable bed keeps you awake then this will be an issue for you.

We wasn't expecting much being a motel, but for over $250 per night I did expect the place to be clean. It was thilthy, every room in our apartment, floor not vacuum, black hairs on everything, sweat stained Pillows, Pillows that were just broken bit of foam. Big black and fluid stains all over the couch, towels and face washers not changed daily, even when we were told they had been. No access to the free WiFi and given wrong password when requested. No phone for reception or fire blanket or extinguisher for kitchen. Green algie growing in the spa, the kids play area extremely unsafe and old, the games room only has coin operated arcade games. The bbq area looked like a squatters camp and the bbqs were beyond the point of ever being cleaned again. Disappointed and disgusted is an understatement.

Absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed.

Do not book under any circumstances! The mattress was appalling. Both myself and my wife need a chiropractor after the experience.

Not just tired furnishings (home made from dating to the 1970’s?), but exhausted. Damp and musty too. Window fittings broken , Jensen inoperable.

The mattress alone must have been 10 years old, was totally sagged out, and poor quality even when new. Even your unverified claim to have subsequently replaced it only serves to demonstrate that you hold your clients with contempt, and by way of not advertising the real standard of the Village Motor Inn, you have defrauded your clients over a very long period. In my opinion you should not be in business. Period.
