Lovely cottage. Bedrooms were very cosy with great heating, and the beds were very comfy. Loved the amazing breakfast - fresh yummy loaf of bread and cake daily, generous amount of fresh bacon, eggs, jams, cereal, 1l milk, OJ, plunger coffee. Perfect place to stay. Thank you Amanda and Danny for an enjoyable stay. Definitely will be back.

Lovely historical cottage with optional breakfast provisions available. Amanda is a friendly host and the freshly baked bread every day is delicious as are the butter and jam that accompany it. I will definitely be returning to this gorgeous cottage.

Okay, so where do I even begin? First off, this place was a vibe, but not the good kind. The cottage was so dusty, I swear I could’ve written my name on the table. Like, did someone forget to clean? Or was this just "rustic" in the worst way?

The orange juice? Watered down to the point I thought I was drinking a sad, overpriced version of a juice cleanse. 🙄

Now, we booked for 10 people and somehow there were only 2 double beds and 2 single beds. So, yeah, unless you're down for some cozy (read: awkward) bonding, be prepared for a lot of spooning with your friends.

Oh, and the mirror? There was ONE, and it wasn’t even full-length. So, good luck trying to figure out if your outfit actually works or if you just look like a walking Pinterest fail.

Overall, for the price, I expected more than a dusty throwback to 1998. Sorry, Westbury, but we're swiping left on you. 👎

We were in the bungalow and it was gorgeous. Very clean lovely gas heater. Everything one would need. Thank you to the owners we were given welcome cupcakes on arrival and little biscuits during our stay which were homemade The shower was great always hot and the bathroom had towel warmers and heated. Would stay again

Very disappointed in the state of cleanliness we had to damp dust all surfaces of the cottage especially the bedroom due to the thick coast of dust. As I have asthma this is non negotiable. The owner apologised but no offer of refund. We booked through the RAA as part of a 2 week package otherwise I would have refused to pay.

Very disappointed in our stay, cottage was dusty and dirty. We had to damp dust all surfaces. Lounge and bed very uncomfortable.
Historical should not mean dirty or uncomfortable 🥺

If you are looking for a quirky stay in a period cottage, look no further. These cottages are very cute, clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. They provide the perfect location to explore the town of Westbury - within easy walking distance to everything you need to see/do in Westbury.
Amanda, our host was very hospitable and provided goods for an excellent breakfast - including an array of cereal, fresh baked bread and ofcourse bacon and eggs.

Quirky! Massively comfy four poster bed (Servant’s Cottage), if you get a breakfast package included you get eggs, bacon, cob loaf - there’s cereal, litre of milk (instead of those puddly UHT tubs). Great shower, hot water aplenty - totally comfortable cottage. Bit squeezy getting to one side of the bed - but that’s a minor thing.
Terrific base for that wonderful part of Tasmania. Ok for those with mobility issues. Very friendly owner.

I’d recommend this place anytime!
