We enjoyed our stay. Hosts were very accommodating and the rooms as well as the building itself had old world charm. Just lovely. We will definitely stay again. Highly recommend. Very highly.

We had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay in a perfect B&B! The hotel is beautifully furnished with a perfect blend of heritage, charm and modern design. Cathy and Jeff were the kindest hosts and they really made our stay special. Breakfast was very delicious in a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend anytime!

Lovely small hotel, very tastefully decorated rooms, in a beautiful traditional old victorian house. Wonderful breakfast, the most fresh fruit salad ever, I am a fruit addict, yummy berry yogurt , served in the beautiful dining room. One minute walk to a park where there is the amazing french cafe , Saint George,suggested by Susie, the wonderful smiling Windarra owner. I would totally recommend Windarra, is like be hosted in a beautiful friends house.

This part of Launceston exudes alovely ambiance, but beware that this is a hilly part of town if your mobility is impaired, it may not be the best option,|We aren't troubled by a km or two walk for dinner and so enjoyed our stay here. There is quite a charm with so many houses in their original condition in the area

Our stay at Windarra on High was excellent, our room and facilities were clean, well appointed and comfortable. Continental breakfast in the dining room was very pleasant. |It is very convenient to the CBD of Launceston and a safe place to walk around. |Host Susanna was very welcoming and friendly.

So comfortable and relaxing. We stayed in the apartment it had everything we needed, lovely decor and high ceilings and the sunshine through the large sliding doors was so warming. Susanna is very welcoming and provides excellent service.
Happy to stay there whenever we are in Launceston.

Loved our stay at Windarra on High! Truly felt like a step back in time to Victorian era Britain, with every care taken to restore the mansion to it's splendour! Make sure you enjoy the continental breakfast on the decking out front, very charming!

Exquisite stay at a charming B&B. Susana was an exceptional host, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The room was tastefully decorated, featuring an electric ambient fireplace, a well-appointed bathroom, and a luxurious king bed. Breakfast was served by the warmth of an open fireplace, creating a cozy atmosphere for the start of the day. We were impressed by our first B&B experience and will definitely return.
