This boutique hotel was very welcoming. Easy self check in, room was comfortable with appropriate amenities. Free onsite parking.
Breakfast was included and was more than satisfactory, cereal, fruit, boiled eggs to your liking and sourdough toast, as well as coffee and tea. Staff were 5 star.
Highly recommended, especially as it is an easy 5 minute walk into town. Many pubs and good restaurants in the area. City Park is across the road and Saturday Harvest Markets are a short walk away.

The Florence Hotel is a very stylish, small, personal, boutique hotel right in the heart of Launceston. Everything is so close - we walked to amazing cafes and restaurants. Our stay here was like a home away from home. It’s peaceful, exquisitely decorated and the staff are so welcoming, attentive and generous with their knowledge about the area. A generous breakfast is included in the beautiful conservatory which is also a lovely place to relax and read with its huge glass windows. We will be back again and again as we hike more of Tasmania’s stunning wilderness.

We had a big group of us staying for National Rowers competition over the weekend (while I also managed to watch the mighty Hawks) and I can't speak highly enough of our host Kate who gave us so many great tips. Breakfast in the dining room was so much fun and post day drinks in the conservatory was another highlight.

The Florence is a wonderful and peaceful place to stay. Easy walking distance to most things, across the road from a beautiful park. Kate was wonderful, sharing local places to visit and accomodating of our last minute trip changes, the rooms are lovely and clean, the conservatory is light filled and relaxing. Overall I would highly recommend this beautiful and unique place to stay with wonderful hospitality! Thank you Kate and Sofia

The rooms were beautifully designed, blending modern comfort with a cozy, boutique charm. Everything was immaculately clean, and the little thoughtful touches—like the complimentary snacks and local recommendations from Kate—made the experience all the more special.
One of the highlights of my stay was the delightful breakfast hamper each morning and the home-cooked eggs. Offering a perfect start to the day that I could enjoy in the comfort of my room or in one of the hotel's charming common areas.
The location of The Florance was perfect, offering easy access to nearby attractions while still maintaining a peaceful, intimate atmosphere.

A fantastic boutique accommodation. Kate was very lovely and provided great suggestions for activities in and around Launceston. The breakfast was a perfect way to start the day, and the accommodation is very central directly across the road from the city park.

The Florance is a beautiful Heritage building, even more beautifully renovated, the dinning room and conservatory, are warm, inviting and have a plethora of information, books maps etc: on Tassie.
The breakfast bag was a great idea, and healthy as well, with additional boiled eggs and toast, jam, and avocado, served fresh by Kate and Sophia each morning.
Kate is extremely professional, and helpful with a wealth of knowledge on Tassie, we highly recommend The Florance, and would certainly like to come back.

Really lovely space. Room was great with all you could need. Breakfast was sensational and the house itself is beautiful. Also great location to walk most places.
