Peppers Silo Hotel is a beautifully renovated property with stunning views of the river. The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well soundproofed, making for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

The free on-site parking was a great bonus, as the hotel is a bit far from the city centre by foot, but very convenient for travelling around by car.

The food at the hotel restaurant—and even the room service—was simply outstanding. Some of the best meals I’ve had in my life! The ingredients were incredibly fresh, the chefs were clearly professionals, and every dish was absolutely delicious.

A fantastic experience overall, and I would highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay at Peppers Silo Hotel. The rooms were spacious and the beds were super comfortable, making it a great base to relax. Staff were lovely—welcoming us warmly at check-in and always pleasant throughout our stay. We ate breakfast at the hotel twice and both meals were excellent. The views over the river and surrounding area added to the charm. Highly recommend if you’re staying in Launceston.

The Peppers silo is simply stunning. We found the rooms exceptional, comfortable bed and plenty of space. The food at the restaurant was the best breakfast I have had a hotel! They even have a doggy! 10/10 would recommend.

We had a very pleasant stay at Peppers Silo. The hotel's modern and stylish design is immediately noticeable, and the rooms are spacious and thoughtfully appointed, with a particularly comfortable bed. The staff were consistently friendly. While the free, above-ground parking fills up quickly, the availability of parking across the street ensures convenience. Overall, we felt it was excellent value for the quality of the stay

One of the best places my wife and I have stayed at. We got one of the rooms on the top (8th) floor overlooking the river. Amazing room, awesome views. Really sad that we only had time to stay the one night before our flight home. Everything in the room and bathroom was excellent quality, clean and fresh. Had some room service from Grain (restaurant) which was delicious. Front desk service was friendly and helpful and get to have the bonus of bulk pats for Archie.

Very easy to find and heaps of parking available. Really enjoyed our stay.

My husband, young son and I just stayed there in the silo suite and we absolutely loved it. 3 nights, the breakfast was great, dinner even better down at Grain and the staff were all so so lovely. Couldn’t rate it higher, particularly having the amazing riverbend park right there which was perfect for our boy (3yo). Will be back 100%.

We were visiting family in Launceston and decided to stay at the Silo for 5 nights in a Tamar River View Room on a bed and breakfast basis.||The style of the hotel is quite unique, being built in a converted Grain Silo located on the banks of the Tamar River, and within a short walk of Launceston CBD. As well as the original grain silo, a new modern extension has been built behind, and attached to, the original silos, and our room on the 8th floor was in that part of the hotel, with views looking down the river. ||The room was large and comfortably designed, with great views over the river, and had plenty of wardrobe space, and a large well-equipped bathroom. We were fortunate to have a room at the river end of the building, but some rooms at the other end of the hotel overlook an industrial estate, with only a sideways view of the river. The rooms built in the Silo part of the hotel overlook the Cataract Gorge and pleasant gardens, but when we booked these were all reserved.||Breakfast at the hotel was excellent, and was served à la carte (no buffet), and the quality, variety and presentation of the food was very good, as was the friendly and efficient service. ||We didn't have an evening meal in the hotel restaurant, but we did have a couple of drinks in the bar, which was nice, but we were a little surprised to find that the bar closed by 9.00pm at the latest, and after that you needed to go to the café / restaurant area to get drinks. A hotel of this standard should, in our view, have the bar open much later in the evening so that guests can enjoy a relaxing drink after an evening out.||We did thoroughly enjoy our stay at the Silo, and would recommend it for anyone wanting a comfortable stay in Launceston.

Lovely hotel, our room was huge, well appointed with modern styling. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. ||I did find this hotel quite expensive. We booked a river view room, the view wasn’t great, we could |Only see the river on an angle our one end of our window, but the rest of the view was a carpark and industrial estate, rather disappointing.||Agree with other posts about loud music, and there was a function on the Friday night, we were trying to enjoy a couple of quiet drinks in the hotel bar/lobby, the function guests were extremely rowdy, ordering shots at 7pm. Not a good spot for a few quiet drinks.||Breakfast was lovely.||We enjoyed our stay, Launceston is beautiful!
