We had the most enchanting stay at The Red Feather Inn in the Loft Apartment, nestled in the peaceful countryside just outside Launceston. The charm of this old-world accommodation truly took our breath away. The downstairs bathroom was luxurious, with a lavish bath that made relaxation a dream. Upstairs, the cozy bedroom and adorable dining area added to the charm, and we loved waking up to a delightful continental breakfast.||To make the experience even more memorable, we were served a delicious three-course meal by the friendliest chef you could hope to meet. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the panna cotta was to die for—absolutely a must-try! Every detail was thoughtful and elegant, making it the perfect countryside retreat. We can’t wait to return to this gem!||Patrick and Claire.|Perth WA

We stayed in "The Loft" at the Red Feathers Inn. The accommodation was beautiful with everything you would expect to find. It was spotlessly clean and decorated in the delightful French provincial style, warm and inviting. Breakfast was included with yoghurt, berries and toast. |We dined in the Red Feathers restaurant. The three course meal was exceptional. One of the best meals we have ever had anywhere. The chef served us. His warmth and friendly manner added to our experience. |Thank you to everyone at the Red Feathers Inn.|Carolyn & Nick from Hobart

What a phenomenal experience at the red feather inn restaurant on a cold wintery night.||I had organised a surprise birthday dinner for my father and emailed ahead about some special preparations. The team at red feather inn exceeded all my expectations for the night. The setting was intimate and beautifully set up as if we were guests at a wedding. Everything was cooked to perfection and the table service was wonderful. Such a sweet, humble and kind team - A special mention to Han and the chef for our delicious three course experience, as well as Bella for personalising/organising a special candle celebration and table setting for my father. I would give 10 stars if I could and cannot wait to return. Thank you red feather inn for an experience we will never forget.

Lovely old buildings & beautiful gardens. The Manager, who was working in the restaurant, was absolutely delightful! He was very friendly and knowledgeable.
We stayed in the Garden Suite which was tastefully decorated (apart from the old sofa bed / couch that we had to sit on which was extremely uncomfortable) and all the furnishings were lovely. On our third night, when the restaurant was closed, we couldn’t get any wi fi to work either upstairs or downstairs. It was as if we only got wi fi whilst the restaurants laptop was on.
We had a delightful dinner in the restaurant but were a bit disappointed that there was only one red wine to select from and BYO was not allowed.

Beautiful cottage style rooms. Lovely simple breakfast provided. So toasty - heating was great for winter. No fuss parking, easy drive out of Launceston about ten minutes from city center. Would easily stay again.

This inn is remarkably beautiful and excellent value. We stayed before and after the Bay of Fires walk, my friend and I had two separate rooms before, and one of the cottages after. The decor and ambience were quite literally the nicest I have seen in Australia, and I have stayed at some really good hotels. Every tiny detail had been thought through, and bathrooms were stunning, deep baths, hot showers, all very tasteful.|Free continental breakfasts were provided, which were ample and coffee pod machines or plungers in every room. |The onsite restaurant was nice too. |If you are planning to stay anywhere near Launceston, I would absolutely recommend here. It is gorgeous.

My family of five has three teenage daughters and Pearce’s cottage was perfect. Three bedrooms, two lovely bathrooms, a great kitchen, lounge and dining areas. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and well maintained. A great washing machine and dryer were a bonus. It is 10 minutes drive to Launceston, but breakfast supplies, beautiful accommodation and very reasonable rates make it worth the drive.

The bed was two cheap single beds put together and the mattresses Velcroed together. Very bouncy needs that meant that when one person moved a muscle the other person got bounced and disturbed. Made for a poor sleep till we dismantled this set up
The restaurant promised to be good but didn't deliver. Flavourless but attractive looking entrees and mains. Didn't bother with sweets
