The tap beer is disgusting no matter what you get which you can probably tell walking in just by the condition of the place it's better to get a bottle or can of something which most of the people were drinking so I guess they know, then you leave to get a few takeaways and I am exposed to the most expensive bottle shop I have ever been to, 40 bucks for a 6 pack then I asked for a refund immediately but they didn't refund me, naughty naughty....

Bws around the corner was 28 for the same 6 pack.

We tried the food as there is a new cook and new owners. Food is good pub fare and well cooked. Pub very overheated to the point of discomfort - roaring wood fire going in October- room was stifling and most of the other diners also commented on the uncomfortable heat. No ice bucket for a bottle of barely chilled white wine which quickly became undrinkable due to it's room temperature. We left early as we were unable to deal with the heat in the room.

Went there for Mother's Day tea with my mother and other family members. Service was slow, really slow. Had to wait over 2 hours for our tea. Could of and should of done better.

I absolutely love this place they help out everyone and anyone that needs help they are really kind company they really do look after their customers and I know that they actually have good drinks at the bar lol

No meals are served in the pub. The room is very small, not well maintained. But well equipped. Microwave and toaster supplied. Double bed, comfortable.

Well, if you want an experience to talk about, this is it. First, there was an old car parked outside our room with a mattress inside and the gas tank on top of mattress ( it had been removed from car). That should have been a warning. The sign inside the room, says the motel, may be old,but it is clean. ||I will admit that the double bed was clean and relatively comfy, but the carpet was well stained and the bathroom walls were peeling and in ill repair. ||At $80 it was not a deal, maybe $40. One night was enough.

A disgusting hovel populated by meth heads. An experience like no other filth I haven’t seen in a garbage dump, I couldn’t even wash away the filth with the pathetic excuse for a shower. The heater wouldn’t work, the fridge door wouldn’t even stay close. A park bench would be a better option than this motel. The council needs to shut this place down.

Absolutely disgusting accommodation! Filthy stained carpets and curtains; taps that run tea-coloured water when you turn them on; decor and furnishings that clearly haven't been updated since the 60s-70s; cracked, peeling paintwork; windows that won't close (not good for the sub-zero temperatures we experienced); spiders and cobwebs in the shower; no smoke alarms in some of the rooms. Generally unkempt, unloved and decomposing. My husband summed it up when he called it the "Psycho Hotel". The single star is for the radiant wall heater, which actually functioned.
