The all-day breakfast menu is fantastic, offering a great variety of delicious options to suit every taste. The coffee is rich, flavorful, and expertly made—definitely one of the best I’ve had on the road. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful experience.

Highly recommend this café for anyone passing through. Great food, great coffee, and great service—what more could you ask for?

As always food was served quickly and by friendly staff member. Cutlery was clean with good quality paper serviette. Clean glass and bottle of water placed on table as soon as we sat down. Pre booked for 2 and requested table outside as a beautiful day, table and bench was clean.
I've been a few times now since Carley sold and the standard has remained the same which is great to see.
I had the Green Bowl and daughter has the Potato Rosti with Samon and Salad. Both meal looked and were delicious.
The menu changes each season and there is a specials board each day to choose from. Great sized menu.

The food here was excellent - competing easily with Melbourne and Sydney restaurants (and bettering many). I was hesitant at the prices when viewing the menu online, considering the venue as a lunch option for that day. The two pirk belly bao for $27 is much more than I'm used to for bao BUT the serving size for each bao is larger than average. This still makes me hesitate at the price when it was placed in front of me BUT the pork belly was amazing. The pork belly preparation and cooking was of high quality. Tge bao bun was extremely light and fluffy, making every other bao bun I've tasted seem gluggy. I might have preferred a little more coriander in the bun but that's minor. My dining partner was an elderly relative who ordered two scrambled free range eggs on toast. We swapped out the sourdough for whole meal. She also ordered bacon and potato rosti. The quality of the meal was excellent, with rich flavours the serving size for the eggs was large, and there bacon was heaped on the plated (i.e. lots of it) and very nicely cooked. For my elderly relative this was too much food, so half the size at half the price would have sufficed she got through the bacon and potato rosti with my help. The eggs were easily eaten. The toast went untouched. Even for me, this would have been too large, especially given the rich flavours. Maybe consider offering smaller option sizes at reduced price. Staff were good. Prices point to quality was excellent. No dusappotment, here. We didn't have a reservation and didn't have any trouble getting a table (but we arrived outside what I consider normal dining hours).

Updated review as I have dined here again. My friend and I were on a time limit due to an important appointment in the CBD (which we made the staff aware of to check if at all possible to eat promptly). The establishment was near packed but we received our drinks and food quick as a flash. The quality was A1 and not compromised. As always, fantastic food, fast service, wonderful staff, great company

I usually enjoy the coffee from this café, but I was really disappointed on my last visit. I was charged $14.50 for a plain croissant and a small coffee, so I asked the staff how much the plain croissant was. She simply said $9.50—the same price as a ham and cheese croissant—and mentioned that there was no option in the system to select a plain croissant at a different price.

There was no clear explanation or offer to adjust the price when I asked. Most good bakeries charge around $6.50 at most for a plain croissant, so $9.50 feels excessive, especially without any added value. I normally wouldn’t compare prices, but the way it was handled left me feeling like I had to. Hopefully, the service and pricing clarity improve moving forward.

Love this place! The service is second to none and the food is always delicious! The specials in particular are always unique and incredibly tasty. Today was Buttermilk Waffles (standard menu item) and Pulled Pork Benny (special), we couldn't fault either! Heaps of space with tonnes of room for prams and larger groups. Also available is a selection of gorgeous sweet treats in the cabinet near the door, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, etc. And pretty little posies for sale today too for $9.50 each!

I stopped by Spencer's in Hobart for an afternoon coffee and dessert, and the experience was lovely. The brownie was absolutely delicious — rich, perfectly baked, and truly satisfying.

I also tried their Dirty Chai, but it didn’t quite hit the mark. The flavor was a bit below average, with the cinnamon overpowering the chai instead of complementing it. A better balance would have made it much more enjoyable.

That said, the café itself is beautiful and very cozy. I’d love to come back for lunch sometime. The fact that they’re open on Sundays is a big plus for coffee and dessert lovers like me!

They seem to be a popular favourite with locals.
The coffee is pretty good, the food although not the cheapest, seems to be of good quality and generous. The menu selection was varied with something for everyone, kid friendly.
Recommend trying the waffle. The one I tried was light and fluffy and probably one of the best I've had in a while.

There is a decent amount of tables inside, with limited tables and seating outside. But lovely to relax with friends or family outside when the sun is shining.
Prompt service, and the staff were friendly.
Parking wise, there is on-street parking around, but sometimes hard to find a spot when the cafe is busy!
