All pastries and sandwiches looked great, but to my surprise, they all looked better than they tasted. We tried a brioche sandwich (can't recommend), apricot danish (it was fine) and sausage roll (quite average).

What an atrociously abysmal place. Considering how many coffee shops are in the area, one would think they’d put in a little effort. It wasn’t our first choice, but parking anywhere else in ‘The Village’ was impossible and my elderly Mum is unable to walk far. No greeting when we arrived; so instead of dealing with the staff I used their QR code to order a small cappuccino & a regular latte, as well as 3 small savoury snack items, to ‘dine in’. I received instant confirmation on my phone. After watching 2 ‘workers’ leaning around the coffee machine, doing nothing but chatting about their previous employment places for almost 20 minutes, I finally asked if they had received my order. I was informed bluntly by one that it was, “ready ages ago, it’s on the sign.” Said ‘sign’ was turned away from where we were sitting and there was nothing in the ordering process to indicate we’d receive anything but table service. I went to the counter to collect our ‘dine in’ order in paper cups and a paper bag. No acknowledgment about any misinformation or poor service on their part. Took the lids off the coffee to discover they’d made the coffees the wrong way around. With an eye roll one of the ‘workers’ took the cups and with attitude said, “Sorry. I’ll just fix that.” She returned a few minutes later placing the 2 paper cups on the table and walked away. I don’t think they could have made the coffee servings smaller if they tried, although the price isn’t small. The shop itself was dirty. Considering the number of staff and very few customers it would have been timely to clean tables and chairs, perhaps even sweep the floor. Definitely won’t be returning.

Was at Banjos and asked if i could.have an egg sandwich without lettuce as my husband has had bowel cancer and cannot eat lettuce. The young man who served me was pleasant but was unsure about asking for it. He came back and said the guy out the back would do it but wasnt happy about it. Whenever we have been to other Banjos there has never been a problem not good customer service perhaps he needs to be told we pay his wages like going there but a bit unsure now Bev Shuker Geilston Bay

Went in yesterday around 1pm.
As soon as I entered the woman at the counter screwed up her face and instantly asked what I wanted before I even had a chance to look.

She then proceeded to grab my pie and basically forcefully handed over my food. She then did the same to the person I walked in with
