Modern hotel that is clean and well set up. Very good value with smaller rooms but comfortable. Clever floor plan means the small room actually works out well. Good shower that has rain shower or handheld. Nice pool as well and decent location.

My son and I recently stayed four night. Our usual hotel was booked out for this period.
It’s clean and perfect for a short stay. Well organised and has all you need.
The shower is great and room was cleaned daily, always done when we were out for small pickets of time. Unsure how they did that.
Now the service is amazing, from check in and all through our stay. I left my make up bag there and had already caught the plane. They located it and posted it to me.
Gym is on the small side, but has all you need. The pool is worth mentioning and the sunrise over the pool was incredible.
It will become my regular hotel now, in place of our old favorite.
We stay twice a year visiting family.
Look forward to our next stay in summer

I stayed at the Ibis Styles for 3 nights as a quick getaway with my daughter for her birthday. |The stay could have been better if we were given a room other than the disabled one. Whilst I understand the hotel needs to use all rooms, a bit of common sense would have prevailed when putting 2 girls in a disabled room. |The bathroom has no fan so we had to use the mirror in the wardrobe to do make up and hair as bathroom was always fogged up. There was limited space in the bathroom as no vanity so we couldn't set things out for comfort. A toilet brush would have been a wonderful help!|There were limited towels so when the floor got slippery (due to shower curtain) we had nothing to wipe it up with. It was annoying that housekeeping would remove all our towels even though the "code" was hang them up for another time, "on the floor" if you want fresh towels. |The bed would have been comfortable IF the mattress was turned around. There was a large indent of everyone who had slept there before, so comfort levels were poor and led to restless nights sleep. |The pool looked lovely and we wanted to use it however....no towels due to needing to use them on the floor to wipe excess water. There was also a bag rack in the bathroom which was down right dangerous to have there and a trip hazard. |The Good Guy restaurant was disappointing as has very limited vegetarian options other than side vegetables or fried rice, so we ate elsewhere.|Reception was good and friendly. Location was great and the bonus green stripe lighting on the building was perfect to locate the hotel every time.|Parking is amazing but a little over priced at $25 a night. |Had we had a different room, the stay would have been near on perfect as hotel is nicely styled and clean. |An extra chair in the room would be helpful.

We recently stayed a night at the Ibis Styles on Macquarie Street. Reservation was made online, check-in was quick and seamless upon arrival. Luggage storage available for those with early arrivals and late departures. Lobby has fair sized seating area. There is a ground floor access to an Asian restaurant on location as well as a pool and gym facilities on the hotel grounds.

Our room was good size for an Ibis property. Mattress fine for decent sleep, bathroom spacious, showered worked well. Room included desk, chair, telly, safe, ironing board, fridge, kettle, tea & coffee, good lighting, plug outlets and stable wifi. It is a basic but functional room, perfect if you are simply needing a place to keep your luggage and get some sleep during stays in Hobart. Would be happy to stay here again next time in Hobart.

I stayed 4 nights, main purpose is for the Hobart Marathon.

I didn't spend much time in the hotel so the size of the room was good enough for me. The daily cleaning service was good quality and the bed was comfortable.

Swimming pool (and sauna) was great, especially after the Hobart Marathon.

The restaurant is very good - nice ambience and good selection of the food (I like Asian food).

Location is slightly off the CBD area but since Hobart is a small city, it didn't bother me. Close to Salamanca Place and the Waterfront area. Also Skybus stop is located right next door.

If I have to pick one word to describe, it would be OVERPRICED.

The Deluxe room is a shoe box with kind of a view 🤷🏻‍♀️

Waredove was 6 hangers for 7 days for 2 people 🤣🤣🤣

Small fridge which was ok, 2 cups, 2 spoons and 2 wine glasses. No plates, not any other cutlery. And electric kettle. And tha’s it. Not even a microwave. I had far better in lower stars hotels.

Water from the pool was COLD, not warm, cold, the two days I wanted to use it.

Other than that, it was pretty quiet. And staff members are extremely helpful and friendly.

Still no value for money, since we paid around $250 a night 😩

Location is ok. But not many restaurants around, and the downstairs restaurant is not recomendable at all.

I was expecting so much more, very disappointed 😞

The beds are soooo comfy and possibly the best I've ever slept in. The location is within walking distance to everything, and the reservation staff are very helpful. You will get another star when the restaurant delivers to my room instead of just takeaway or eat-in. That said, I really enjoyed the mocktails the bar staff whipped up while I waited. I plan to use the heated pool, sauna, and gym next time I'm here, and the laundry next to them was very handy, too. Even the fact that the driveway was easy to get to on the main road was a bonus. Thanks for a wonderful week.

This is probably the only IBIS styles hotel I've stayed in that has a swimming pool, sauna and gym. The swimming pool is very nice but it’s very cold. I can see the sea view from the pool side. The hotel is very new and the lobby is very bright. There is also a small area for children to play. Although it's not big, it's very considerate. ||The room is basic. Although I didn't get upgraded to a room with the harbor view as a platinum member but I was very grateful to be upgraded from a room with no view to a high floor with the nice Mountain View. I saw the stunning sunset from my room. It is a great value for money to stay here. ||The only thing I don't recommend is their restaurant. The food tastes not good but the restaurant waiters were friendly. Overall, I recommend this hotel to everyone.
