Lovely apartment, beautifully appointed and immaculately presented. The bed was super comfy and the apartment had everything we could possibly need. Great location so close to the city, we just wish that we’d had time to try out the bikes and golf clubs

Absolute gem of a place to stay - we hadn't realised until we arrived that 'luxury' wasn't wrong. Super comfortable accommodation with all the thoughtful little touches, well appointed and provisioned - if you can think it they probably already have! Breakfast, pantry, books, wine, bikes, even a way to arrange a loan of golf clubs? Bed was lovely and comfortable. It's on a main road but you wouldn't know it with the windows closed. Walkable to the heart of Hobart, or over the top of the hill to the gardens. Terry was very responsive and helpful! There's also a lift straight up to the apartments if accessibility is a concern. Would hugely recommend, or return if we go back to Hobart sometime.

Is a 4.9/5. Our family had a perfect stay, and is one of the best house throughout our entire trip!||Everything is perfect! House is extremely well equipped and clean! Terry is also very responsive. The only downside would be the 20mins walk to the main cbd area.

Such a warm and welcoming experience at this property. |All the additional unexpected but delightful details were beyond the norm. Focusing on our enjoyment and experience of local Produce by providing all the fixings for a full breakfast, a local wine, chocolates and whiskey to name a few.|Everything is lux and a truely enjoyable experience we want to come back and enjoy again. We loved our stay at The Quarry House Luxury Retreat. The accommodation is absolutely outstanding. Meticulous attention has been given to the comfort, enjoyment and safety of patrons. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything imaginable. Quality Tasmanian produce is supplied including wine, beer, whisky, chocolate truffles, eggs and bacon and fruit. The king-size bed is divine. We enjoyed being able to walk into the city and appreciate its history and its vibrancy. Having our vehicle safely locked away within sight was an added bonus. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you Vanessa and Terry for your wonderful hospitality and for spoiling us.

Before you even arrive at this accommodation you will feel like a valued member of Terry and Vanessa’s family instead of a paying guest. |Every thing you couldn’t have even thought of have already been considered….from the luxury robes, the comfiest bed, raindrop shower head, all of the items in the fridge on arrival, Netflix logged in, the amazing smell of the place….I could keep listing but there’s way too many things. |Even on a main road the apartment is incredibly quiet. |Great location, very easy to find and access. |Do yourself a favour, and treat yourself to at least one night here.
