We stayed here at the start and finish of our Road trip around Tassie. Excellent spot - safe and warm - good parking. Great spot for the HoHo bus, pick ups for tours and shops etc. Great staff. Rooms very big and comfortable. Excellent showers. Close to the water and most restaurants.

Our accommodation was fabulous. Very comfortable bed and the large rooms (3) were furnished with everything we could possibly need. It was only a short walk from the Salamanca Market. The in-house restaurant was excellent also. |The only unfortunate thing was our check-in was somewhat unpleasant. The person on the front desk (B**) was unwelcoming and officious. He greeted us with a demand of proof of our identity, and was not impressed when we wanted to pay the remainder of our accommodation with a debit card and charged us an extra $100 deposit returnable on check-out. (Turns out we did have a credit card but by this stage we were very flustered by his impatience.) Since it was around 1.30 pm on a Thursday, we asked whether he could recommend a cafe nearby for lunch. He blurted out the name of some cafe but didn’t indicate where it was. Not having been to Hobart before, we asked whether the car park entrance was behind the hotel; he replied that it was at 3 Princes Lane. Thinking that was the address behind the hotel, we turned at that street and then had to turn left for several blocks down one way streets to find our way back to the hotel. If he had been a bit more helpful we could have avoided the difficult start to our otherwise wonderful stay, especially after a long day of driving.|Just a note too about the bathroom sink: it was beginning to block up.

Fabulous 3 night stay in a twin 1 bedroom apartment.Business trip with some leisure thrown in.
Very comfortable beds, great bathroom (I appreciated the bath), good kitchenette. All very clean and modern.
Short walk to Battery Point, close to shops.
What sets RACV apart is it's friendly staff both on reception and in the restaurants. Shout out to Gloria on reception and Tuli and Tim in the restaurants.
Lovely food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thanks ☺️

Highly recommend RACV Hobart which is centrally located for many day trips and all the tourist spots in the city. Easy walking distance to shops and constitutional dock. King room was very spacious, bed super comfortable, bathroom toiletries great quality and everything was very clean. Lovely spot for a happy hour drink on the ground level. Definitely coming again!

Best stay ever!
Stayed here during our trip to Tassie, and would definitely be back and recommend to others. Even though it was Anzac day, there was absolutely no disruption and the parking experience was made extremely smooth by the expertise of Ben, which we highly enjoyed. Lovely Hotel, luxurious yet welcoming. Clean and spacious rooms, confortable bed and friendly staff.

Awesome location. Can walk to all the tourist sites in and around Hobart. Easy access to Salamanca Market and tour pick up spots. Restaurant excellent, for dinner and breakfasts. Room spacious and the windows open!! Added bonus stop 5 on the sky bus route to airport. Highly recommend

Awesome central Hobart location. Great modern rooms. I had a one bedroom apartment and it was spacious, had a balcony and full sized bath which you don't see often. As a RACV member I got a great deal which included the room, parking, breakfast, a free drink in the bar each night and dining credit in their restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. Checking in and out was easy and quick. Will stay here again next time I'm in Tasmania.

Love the architecture and the vibe of the hotel! Very cosy and spacious rooms. I didn’t have the great view from the room but loved the lounge area with the fireplace and the glass ceiling to chit chat and grab few drinks from the bar. I will definitely be coming here when next in Hobart.
