Good location and friendly staff. Joshua was helpful and responded quickly to my questions by phone and email. Late check in was well organised and this is great.

There is a Sunday market right in front of the hotel. A great chance to pick up some souvenirs before heading home — local wine, berries, and more.

They offered me an extended stay, which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, I had to return to work and could not accept it, but it was still appreciated.

First of all the location is great and staff were friendly.
The rooms are extremely basic and dated but were clean. Unless you book a room with a kitchen you wont have much. We got 'upgraded' but I'm not sure what too as the room was still small with no view. It's fine for a short stay. Parking costs extra.

Mixed reviews already on record. Our stay was AWESOME. We loved the location: so very central. There was a market RIGHT outside our door on Sunday and we enjoyed visiting the pub across the road. We could HEAR the pubs entertainment on a Saturday night. I could still sleep well. Our room was well maintained. Great soundproofing. I love quiet n calm!!! No frills room but clean, fresh and inviting. Love love loved the views from our level 7 room. No daily service BUT staff would replenish anything we requested. Staff service was SO VERY ACCOMODATING and helpful. If you're a fussy visitor, oh, go spend the kids inheritance & just stay with The Four Seasons or equivalent: The staff have better things to do than deal with your Precious Princess attitude!!!!

If you need a budget hotel within the heart of Hobart city. This is a great option. Bagel Cafe in front of the hotel is the perfect choice for breakfast. Don't expect a room service or linen change if you are staying for a couple of days. Mattresses are not very comfortable and feel aged. The aircon in rooms is set at particular temperatures, but you can change the settings to cool or warm mode. Overall, it's not a bad considering the price and location.

We have spent 3 nights here and It was one of the best hotels I have stayed.
Comfortable, clean, with friendly staff.
It is close to the centre.

The only flaw I can find is that there are no power points next to the beside tables and the price for the carpark is $28 daily, a bit too much.

For the rest, impeccable!

We booked the Allurity Hotel because it was convenient to the Budget car rental where we were dropping our rental car off to, they offered reasonably priced car parking, the hotel was a short walk to the MONA ferry, Salamanca Markets, waterfront, we could leave our bags there after checking out and it was convenient to a particular restaurant that we'd booked into. However, when we checked in we discovered that it was close to many great bars and restaurants, in particular the pub across the road was excellent in all respects. A supermarket was close by. The staff were all excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything that you needed- including complimentary coffee pods which were appreciated. Despite being in the CBD it was quiet and we were able to sleep well. Wifi was strong and reliable.

Can't fault the staff, just wanted to be fair here -- they are lovely and helpful. Only issue can be summarized in my rating, this is a 2.5 🌟 at best. Maybe it was 4 star in the 1990s, but now it is well behind the times. Many 1 & 2 star reviews will detail all the problems, so it'd be redundant to say any more.

Stayed 2 nights. The location is excellent and the staff friendly and efficient. |The rooms are comfortable but nothing glamorous. The hotel doesn't pretend to be something it isn't. It is a well located, clean and comfortable property. Our room had a queen bed and a divider to accommodate a single bed on the other side. It felt claustrophobic and prevented natural light from getting throughout the room. The bathroom was modern and well appointed with lotions and good clean towels. I do recommend the hotel if you want a budget to medium priced hotel in a brilliant location. Car parking on the property is $28 per day and good for peace of mind.
