Awesome hotel. Best location. One minute walk to Salamanca market.The rooms are modern, comfortable king bed, just one fault, the pillows are too high and firm which caused a stiff neck. The staff were great to find us more comfortable pillows but they only found one for us which was still not suitable. Something the hotel should cater for.
Had a delicious breakfast at the hotel one morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel

The apartment was a perfect size for a couple and a friend. There was a great kitchen area for snacks etc. Laundry available and an indoor pool that we used after a long day of walking and sight seeing. Lovely reception staff and parking. A short stroll downhill to the markets on Saturday and to the HOP ON HOP OFF bus stop. We drove up to Mount Wellington and got the most beautiful views. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Hobart and if we return this will be our first booking.

Hotel was clean and tidy and staff were very helpful, parking was easy and it was close to everything we wanted to see so we could walk to most places.

The only issue was the air conditioning that was having maintenance done on it and the Hotel had it on a timer that would shut down every couple of hours at night. I found this out after I asked why the air conditioner in my room kept shutting down, this wasn’t told to me on check in.

While this wouldn't normally be an issue while in Tasmania it was 29 degrees on the days we stayed.

A great place to stay - recommended. Perfect location, everything on site and comfortable rooms. Service is patchy but generally good.

Air conditioning didn’t work, but they let us know in advance and gave us the option of free breakfast every day or canceling.

Great location & walking distance to Salamanca markets, pubs & restaurants. Hotel staff were lovely.

Rooms are disappointing. Family twin room “apartment” for 5 and only 1 bathroom. Bathroom had no exhaust fan (making it extremely hot and stuffy). Air conditioning wasn’t working - and wasn’t repaired for our entire 4 night stay.

We stayed 3 nights at the Salamanca Inn in a 2 bedroom apartment which was nicely furnished up stairs and downstairs bedrooms were very comfy and everything was serviced and clean.The only thing i will say there was only 1 toilet which was upstairs could have done with another downstairs other than that
5 stars!!😀

Conveniently located near Salamanca Place, a close walk to the Salamanca Market (Saturdays). Our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious with a well equipped kitchenette. The 1 bathroom was located upstairs. Free parking is available on site although parking spaces are a bit tight. Complimentary laundry facilities are provided including laundry powder.

Extremely disappointing.

Upon check in I was informed that I needed to sign a waver and also needed to provide a $400 bond for one nights stay with my family - no prior notice given despite having spoken on the phone twice for booking. The staff member insisted on charging the card despite having been told it was maxed out which incurred a fee on my end. The furnishings were tattered and flaking. The carpet was old looking, freyed and lifting on the edges along the staircase - quite an eyesore. Only one bathroom upstairs - the shower is over a bathtub and very slippery. There were lots of little signs posted on the walls with rules. We had to wait in the lobby whilst we had our room inspected prior to check out - never had to do that before! I felt uneasy for the entire stay and wouldn't recommend it.
