Excellent meal today. The pizzas are very big and good quality. Schnitzels are thick and juicy, Steak cooked medium rare to perfection and although im not an oyster fan I was told they were perfect. Sauces and chips were great. Kids meal also really good. Meals took a while to come out but to be expected when there is an entrée and steak

We called for lunch and it said there was a 45 minute wait for food, we decided to stay anyway. After one hour we asked how long it was going to be. After another 15 minutes one bowl of soup arrived, the other three of us were still waiting. Five minutes later another soup arrived and another five minutes later the bread arrived. And no spoon to eat the soup with, so the soup goes cold as I wait for my bread and spoon. The forth meal eventually arrived five minutes after.
The soup was only just warm and the chips were already cold.

Surely a kitchen should be able to cope with four meals a bit more efficiently. Very disappointing, will not be back

After talking to the manager the manager offered to refund the the money that we paid for the food. Good acknowledgement of errors on their side

The chicken parmigiana was one of the worst I have ever eaten. Dry, overcooked, lacking flavour and the chips were greasy and overcooked.
Such a disappointment after having eaten here a couple of months ago and had an acceptable meal.
A chicken parmigiana is such a simple dish but obviously the cook on this particular day either had no skill or didn't care.

Wonderful staff from check in to restaurant service. Double room is very basic but comfortable, clean (aside from some cobwebs) and warm. Towels crisp white. Furniture requires updating or repairing, for that matter so do floor boards throughout room, hallway and stairs~ no-one sneaks about that's for sure. Shared bathroom kept clean. Need to be mindful of TV volume. Enjoyed our dinner in restaurant.

We had an early dinner here (5.30) on a Thursday night. We didn’t book, that’s why we arrived early as it looked like it was going to be busy. We had the market fish and the chicken parmi. Both were very tasty and decent portion sizes. Service was quick.

Very average. Ordered two roasts, half serve. Poor amount per serve. $18 plus surcharge made it poor value. Cauliflower, frozen veg, one slice of meat and half a roast potato. Not satisfactory.
Outdoor seating in need of attention. Will not go back.
Better value at Mackeys Hotel in Latrobe. Very generous half serves, happier staff.

Went here twice for dinner and both times the food was amazing!
HUGE meals and great quality, even let us take home the leftovers.
Staff where lovely and accommodating, even made me an espresso martini even though it wasn't on the menu.
If we are down this way again we will be coming back 🙂

A wonderful historical Pub in the heart of Richmond TAS, the Richmond Arms Hotel built in 1888 after a fire destroyed the original pub was lovely to stay in for a night.They have a great selection of beers, wines & cider and a great menu for lunch & dinner. Roast Pork & vege’s was amazing.The accomodation is very basic, room comes with a TV and a few toiletries.The bathrooms need an upgrade and the shower needs a good bleaching.But overall, if you love old historical pubs this one is for you.
