Such a large room and plenty of character which is exactly what I was hoping for. I had a bit of time left in the day for browsing/shopping and the location was perfect. I wish I had more time to enjoy the hotel breakfast or a high tea on a weekend day but not this time around. I would definitely stay again. Staff were lovely and helpful with bags etc. I much prefer hotels with charm and character and that's what you get here. The only drawback was that the bathroom was tight for space. But the positive was the Appelles toiletries! Love them.

We had a lovely stay at Hadley's. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are large but all are a bit different so it is worth asking for a specific room if you have a preference for a bath or a view. The service was excellent. We had an issue with the air-conditioner but the evening manager was extremely helpful and professional. He ensured we were well looked after. Housekeeping was attentive. Parking is a few minutes walk from the hotel but easily accessible and there are loading bays at the front door to unload luggage. We would definitely stay here again. There are options for large family rooms which make it a great choice for families.

Great historic 20th century hotel. Beautifully presented and very large rooms. So much space for our family of 4. Traditional staircase, furniture and fittings. Amazing concierge/front of house staff who were so helpful and accommodating. Right in the middle of town.||The bar and lobby feel like a living museum. Cannot recommend more highly.

Hadley's Orient Hotel is a delightful blend of charm and history. Staying in a family room for one night, we were captivated by the hotel's heritage, dating back to 1834, making it the oldest continuously operating boutique hotel in Tasmania. The beautifully restored Victorian-era interiors exude elegance, and the attention to detail is remarkable. Its central location in Hobart's CBD made exploring the city a breeze. The warm hospitality and unique ambiance made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended for those who appreciate history and character in their accommodations!

Beautiful hotel, huge rooms, full of atmosphere! The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our 5 night stay. Central location, very close to the wharves. Close to everything really. Plenty of eating places nearby. The hotel breakfast is a very handy option. Guests also have the use of a washing machine and dryer, great for a longer stay! I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Hadleys was lovely. The belcony suite we stayed in was amazing, with period features and sooo much room! Five stars for the room and the hotel itself! Lovely staff greeted us on arrival and held our bags till our room was ready so we could set off and explore.|The only negative I must say was the breakfast. We had the full breakfast option which we ordered once however the scrambled eggs were far from good. The continental option was also lacking as the pre made pancakes were left out to go cold and hard and you had to pay extra for espresso coffee or a pot of tea. The only other option was a coffee machine which was average at best.|The hotel bar was lovely and the period features took you back in time which was truely lovely. Very central location with easy walk to the harbour.

Comfortable and clean room. Hotel is charming and worth exploring in itself. It has been beautifully restored but with modern touches where needed.||Breakfast lovely with lots of choice and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times.

Beautiful Hotel with an amazing history behind it. Absolutely ideal location in Hobart with everything within walking distance. Bar, breakfast and all facilities were incredible with amazing staff at the front area.
