The Anchorage Waterfront Retreat was the perfect place to base ourselves for our Huon Valley vacation. It was clean, comfortable, exactly as described and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were amazing, we had a full kitchen, a washing machine and dryer, and of course the heated pool with amazing views across the Huon River and access to the jetty for fishing. My husband, myself and our boys (7 & 6) just had the best time. Highly recommend.

The Anchorage Waterfront Retreat is a light-filled, spacious, attractively-decorated apartment with direct frontage to the Huon River. The kitchen is well-equipped, including tea, coffee pods, oil, clingwrap, milk and fresh eggs. The laundry is useful, and the bathroom has lovely toiletries. There is undercover parking, a pool and sauna and lots of interest within easy driving distance to occupy a stay of several days. Our hosts were thoughtful, responsive and non-intrusive.

We spent Christmas at the Anchorage Waterfront retreat and it was a wonderful relaxing week.
It's a clean, tidy and quiet place with all the inclusions you need in a home away from home.
We all enjoyed a swim in the heated pool, almost daily and had a session in the sauna too.
The hosts provided us some little treats upon arrival. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Huon Valley area.
