We stayed two nights, Julie and Dave very friendly and helpful. Are accommodation was great with breakfast basket, toaster and kettle. We had dinner both nights in the restaurant, the meals were large and delicious, and had a very drinks the lounge in front of the fire. Thanks Julie & Dave for a wonderful stay.

If you’re looking for small town community smiles and great service look no further than the waterfront hotel in Beauty point. Julia and staff were exceptional hosts catering for our drinks and meals.
A couple of our favourites were the oysters kilpatrick and the Porterhouse steak both absolutely amazing. Great job by all !!!!!

I recently visited Beauty Point Hotel and unfortunately had a disappointing dining experience. While the atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were friendly, the food quality did not live up to expectations. We arrived 30 minutes before the kitchen closed and ordered promptly, yet the meal was lacking.

I had steak, ordered medium-rare, which was not marinated and lacked flavor. The texture was tough, and it did not offer the tender, juicy quality one would expect from a high-quality cut of meat. The mushroom sauce was underwhelming and didn’t complement the steak as it should have. The dumplings, meant to be a comforting side, were fried in oil that had a rancid smell, which ruined their flavor and left a lingering aftertaste.

What surprised me the most was the frozen vegetables served with the steak. In my experience, fresh vegetables are a standard accompaniment in such settings, so receiving frozen ones was unexpected and disappointing. However, I did appreciate the zucchini, which tasted fresh and was a pleasant contrast to the rest of the dish.

Though the atmosphere and service were pleasant, the overall food experience was far below par. I did love the hotel room, though— it had a nice environment that made for a comfortable stay.

The food is fresh and amazing the staff friendly and helpful. Has 8 Ball and gaming room, 2 smoking decks and gorgeous views. Open fire and cosy chairs in the main bar.

This place could do a lot better without the plain,pub style meals.
A decent menu and a revamp would make it more attractive. The young chap serving drinks,could do with acknowledging the customer and cracking a smile.
Couldn't wait to get out of there.
Just plain old 1980s decor...etc.

A motel in a great location. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Some of the fixtures and fittings need maintenance, window blind, wardrobe doors, but it was fine.

The pub and bistro are just as you would expect, large portions of good food served with no fuss.

The staff were a bit hit and miss, some were excellent others needed a bit more training.

Negative: Nowhere to sit outside your room. No balcony or seating.
Positives: Excellent service, meals, friendly, extremely helpful, bathrooms are beautiful. Owners and staff bend over backwards to be accommodating

It's a great place for lunch, I had spinach and ricotta ravioli with creamy garlic sauce. It was sensational, the staff were friendly, service was efficient. Views are stunning looking out on the Tamar river.
Would definitely recommend, will visit in April on my next visit.
