Four of us had lunch today. Two had the roast lamb which was tender and served with tasty vegetables and gravy. One had flathead fillets with chips. All these meals were served hot. I had a Halloumi hamburger and chips. The Halloumi was so salty it tasted like a mouthful of salt. The hamburger was luke warm. The chips were cold and soggy, unlike my friends that were crispy and hot. I told the waitress but she just said Halloumi is salty. No I am sorry your meal was cold. Personally I would not go back as there are several good Inns around with better service such as Pembroke.

Went there recently with family for dinner and I was impressed. The food was delicious with nice big serves and the prices were just right! The service quick and friendly. The decor is the only thing that would need updating but really I can overlook all that because the food and prices are the standouts for me

Well worth a visit to grab a meal.

I was so glad I'd reserved a table as this place was jam packed with people. Was greeted by friendly staff and led to the table. They have an extensive menu to cater for all sorts.

I went for the Hawaiian Parmigiana with a pint of beer. Came to just under $30 and what a great meal. The chicken seemed like a normal portion but was thick and juicy. The chips cooked perfectly and the salad delicious. My friend went for the mega size and couldn't finish his meal so you're definitely getting value for money here.

Plenty of parking on site although can get full pretty fast. Wouldn't hesitate to come here again.

Very popular for meals, very reasonable prices and the food was fantastic, staff are very accommodating and friendly.
Is situated just off the highway, so it can be tricky to get out, so recommend to have another drink and let the traffic pass

Pork belly tasted like eating a rock of salt, with dry hard crackling that didn't crunch.
Kids meals were over salted & deeply fried dripping with oil.

We brought a cake to celebrate a birthday with candles. I had to ask for our table to be cleared & for the cake to come out as we did not see any staff apart from when they brought food to our table.
The cake came out, the candles were on the cake unlit & it was just plopped in front of the birthday girl.

Staff were nice when we ordered & paid but there was 0 service apart from that.

Don't bother. Been going to this place for some time but meals has gone seriously downhill. The Chicken Parmi was dry and tough as my boot. Pizza Shredded ham was also used! The whole thing was tasteless. My Partners silverside was also lacklustre and tasteless. The customer next to us told me that he couldn't eat his crumbed sausages They looked disgusting. He got a take away dinner pack to take them home and give to his dog. As a long term customer, I had to post this as the staff there that I approached, couldn't have cared less. Appalling and bye bye. PS I hope your place in town hasn't gone downhill as well.

Great (scrumptious) pub meal at reasonable price. Room for one night convenient location for us, very clean and good size. Only down was the bed, which was extremely uncomfortable.
