Firstly, Nat as a host is very accommodating. Fantastic guy! Location is stunning. Nestled on the shoreline of Tamar River, you have everything you need for a glamping experience, from BBQ facilities to communal coffees machine and fridge. The sauna experience was excellent with views over Tamar. Beds were very comfortable. We fell asleep to the sound of rain and a gentle breeze. Picked some local fruit for breakfast. The open hot shower is just what you need at the end of the day. For truly rustic experience, I cannot fault it.

Fabulous place, wonderful host. Felt like we were in the 1001 nights and we were expecting genies and Aladdin to drop in for a glass of local wine. Instead we had pademelons staying a while and one Tasmanian devil dropping in in the middle of the night. We heard him outside the tent but never saw him.

A charming host, who is very accomodating and provided some great restaurant recommendations (thanks Nat). The accomodation is set on the bank of the Tamar River with exquisite views, the accomodation was flawless, exceptionally comfortable beds with a unique decor. It was lovely to have a fire pit to sit around (if you can’t start a fire on your own, don’t complain about it). The communal kitchen was great and the complimentary coffee hit the spot first thing in the morning. Finishing the evening with a sauna overlooking the Tamar was a first for me and one I’ll never forget. I could not fault a single thing with Nat, his professionalism, the accomodation or the location, if I could leave six stars I would. To all those that left anything less than a glowing review, you either have unrealistic expectations, are delusional and/or simply need to find fault in everything. Great job Nat, well done 👍

There were many positives about our stay at Wingtons-good concept and atmosphere;lovely outlook and outside dining area;great view from the sauna;well decorated and finally the glamping tent was attractive and strong.However,there are a number of improvements which could be utilised to enhance the guest experience eg provision of clothing racks and breakfast provisions.We discussed these with Nat who seemed receptive to our suggestions.Still a very worthwhile place to visit

This place is faultless! We couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. The tent was magnificent, you can really tell the owners have taken every intricate detail into consideration. The set up is like nothing i’ve experienced before. Wood fired sauna and plunge pool are so beautifully tranquil, I could spend a week at this place. You also get your own fire pit to look at all the stars. The easiest 5 stars ever!

The glamping tents have everything you could need, and most things are catered for. The beds are very comfortable, and there is a little pot belly fire to keep things toastie inside the tent on a cold day and night. Amazing location that is right on the Tamar River, and It is so quiet at night. We went with friends and sat out by the fire during the evening with some drinks and nibbles, and it was very relaxing.

Great location and tastefully decorated tents but they are no longer as per website photos. IMO overpriced given you can hear machinery from across the river in the still of the morning. Note you also need to take your own drinking water. Again, beautiful spot on the river.

Me & my husband went there to stay for a night. We had a beautiful Glamping experience. It’s a very well facilitated tent with a gorgeous view of tamar river. Definitely, worth the price. Loved the tea pots 😍 enjoyed hot tub outside in the balcony. Bathroom has hot showers too. Private Fire pit with sunset view was so relaxing. I would definitely recommend if you want to getaway into this small piece of paradise.
