The breakfast here was fantastic but other than that, staying here was a disappointment. The room we were given was nice and clean but the fridge was turned off and there was a shower over bath eventhough I specifically chose a room with shower only. The water wandered between hot and cold constantly, the toilet buttons were difficult to use as they were not secured properly and PLEASE NOTE, they do not have smart TV's so if you want to stream, make sure to take a chromecast. TV channels were dodgy at best as we could only tune a few channels in.||Overall everything is a little dated including the village that did not have all shops open. The swimming pool was not enticing and we had to leave straight away due to too much chlorine being used.

Just stayed here in the cabins last week. Overall a good experience. We travelled in with friends and family for a group of five. Plenty of parking spaces. Easy accessibility access for the main hotel and general grounds and for the most part the road to the cabins, however it might be difficult if staying at a cabin due to gravel in spots.

The nighttime atmosphere at this time of the year is lovely with the lighting fixtures. We ate at the bistro for tea and all had great meals and would happily go back. Even the salt and pepper calamari was cooked nicely and still soft.

Most activities require additional payments such as golf, peddle karts etc. They also have a small games arcade. Disappointingly the peddle boats are only available for a 1 hour window between 9am-10am, and even then when we inquired at 9:25am we were turned away as the target golf had started and that this activity will no longer be available. It was the only activity that our group wanted to do and to not even be available for 30 minutes in a day is quite bizarre.

We would stay again if we had a reason to be in that part of Tasmania, with the Swiss themed location worth visiting. I almost forgot to mention there is quite a bit of wildlife on the grounds with ducks, bandicoot and other large birds wandering around.

My wife really wanted to go here. So we did πŸ™‚ It wasn't what she'd expected and she was a tad disappointed. Seemed in need of some TLC. Perhaps with a crowd and noise and everything working it may have been better - but was almost deserted. Good for photos though πŸ™‚ Easy drive from Launceston and kids would probably love it. We may have just got a bad day.

Having had chalet 456 while I have been on a working holiday in Tasmanian. They are clean tidy and well looked after.
The bistro and restaurant are great.
I did mostly pub and bistro whilst there basically
Work, eat sleep and repeat.
The staff are friendly and will help you out with whatever you need.
Meals are great and service is always with a smile. I didn't do much of anything else, I am sure I missed out on some amazing places to see.
Will definitely be back.

Great place to stay. Stayed 3 nights, central for day trips, easy access. The staff was great, and Bistro for dinner was excellent. Can not say enough about the staff. Rooms are neat and clean but do need a bit of renovating soon, especially wooden verandah and kitchen. We would stay again.

Very very run down and tired.
The baby pool has pieces falling off and is rusty and dangerous, mould in the sauna and tiles falling off everywhere in the pool. Spa needs a good scrub. Boards coming up on the deck at the cabin. Rooms are clean enough. No shampoo or conditioner all empty.
Third time I’ve stayed here nothing Changed in years. Maintenance needs doing asap. Swings hanging off in the playground, not a good look at all. Cost to ride bikes but the road is so bad it’s dangerous. Everything needs to be renovated.. Needs a lot of work at $200 a night it’s disappointing the facilities are so bad.

Leaf litter in the made bed, black human hair on bedding of main bed and spare blankets in the closet. Had to sleep under the sheet of the spare bed. Broken cupboard door in front of the fridge hanging on one hinge, fridge not running, room smelt due to the age of the carpet, floor poorly vacuumed upon arrival. Horrible stay

I reached out to management to be met with merely a 'that isn't great, we'll do better next time'. Nothing further.

Do yourself a favour don't stay here, i have been in much better hotels in third world nations. You may as well stay at a cheap motel and save yourself the money.

Picturesque place to stay by, neat rooms and lots of nature to soak in. Our room was extremely neat and clean. It had all the necessities actually more than needed from Microwave, cutlery, crockery to electric heating blankets + spare blankets. We had a a great one day stay and would like give a huge shout out to "Bonnie", she was extremely helpful, courteous and full enthusiasm. She helped us select and try new food and drinks and did not mind checking multiple things for us with the chef. We enjoyed our dinner, it was delicious! Will visit again soon!
