The view was absolutely spectacular when enjoying some afternoon drinks! The cottage itself had everything we need and was very clean. Very close to many wineries and cheese factories. Would recommend this location to anyone.

Came here for a getaway with my partner last week. Was nice and private, cellar door/lunch onsite too in another nice facility. We stayed in a French cottage which was perfect for us and we had a pretty good view of the property and valley, Nice and close to the airport and city too. All in all a nice quiet and private experience!

We just stopped in for lunch in a gorgeous, almost fairy tale-like dining room with a spectacular view across vineyards. The surroundings were so stunning that I don't recall anything about the food. It would be a perfect place for a wedding. I wished I had another unmarried child so we could have the wedding there.

What a location! And the well equipped cottage had everything we could possibly need for our stay, well laid out and kid friendly for our 4, 2 and 10 month old kids. Would definitely recommend and hope to come again!

Bed bugs!||We stayed in the Cambridge cottage over a weekend in November. It was very comfortable and welcoming. But oh the bed bugs….by the time we checked out I had numerous bites over my face, scalp, arms and back.||We raised the issue with a staff member as we departed. She was very concerned and urged us to contact the owner on the number she supplied because “She will be very concerned about this and will want to hear from you.”||We’ve travelled a lot and understand that even the best of places can experience a bed bug outbreak from time to time. What disappointed us was the lack of response from Riversdale.||We range twice on the number provided and left messages for Wendy asking her to contact us but received no reply over the following weeks. By the Wednesday the itching was so distracting I visited a chemist for advice. After spending about $60 on treatments we finally had the itching under control. But we never got a return phone call. ||We are assuming the owner/manager received our messages and as we are in the tourism business, know how impactful a negative review can be. Pete and Jill

We stayed for two nights at the Cambridge cottage. ||Pros:||Very short walk after the fantastic Faulty Towers Show||Great views from the balcony with table and chairs||Heat pump kept us toasty and warm||Had a coffee bodem (but no ground coffee beans)||Had a box of games and a few books||||Cons:||A little tired (eg old couch, stained sitting chair and ottoman, 2 of the CDs I played were old and scratched, leaky tap, slow draining bathroom sink, bath installed the wrong way, front door tricky to lock, only nescafe coffee, dusty)||It was not 2 bedrooms as advertised, the main bed is right behind the couch. There is a separate bedroom with two single beds.||Main bed was quite soft||Overall I think it is was reasonable accommodation, given the price. I wouldn't stay there again (unless I was going to a dinner and show).
