We stayed one night at Undine and were really impressed with the whole experience. There was chocolates in the room, and Patricia had cooked some delicious chocolate brownies for us and the other guests to help ourselves to in a common lounge area, along with tea and coffee facilities. Such a lovely added warm, homely touch. The spacious room was just delightful with its old world charm. The bed so clean and comfortable. We were made very welcome by Patricia and Rocco (who are perfect hosts for this B & B) and enjoyed great conversation during a fantastic breakfast. We fully recommend this charming place and hopefully when we stay next we will stay longer and make use of the pool.

We stayed at this wonderful B&B for 5 nights in March 2018. It simply wasn't long enough! What an absolutely beautiful home and it's not just the building but the family who owns it that makes is such a special place. Tricia and Rocco and their daughters are so welcoming and make you feel at home as soon as you step in the front door. They truly understand the word "hospitality". Our room, Cristina, was so comfortable and private, and the icing on the cake was the heated indoor pool and downstairs pool table! We highly recommend Undine Colonial Cottage to everyone who visits Hobart - we know where we'll be staying on our next visit!

We had 4 nights at Undine. It was fantastic. Tricia and Rocco are lovely and made us feel welcome. They went out of their way to make sure our holiday was great and gave us so much information on things to see and do. |The place itself is steeped in history and learning about that too was fascinating. Our room was gorgeous, felt like I really was in the early 1900's. Tricia baked a beautiful cake every afternoon and we would sit in the sun lounge chilling out. |A very positive stay and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet week or weekend in Hobart. |Thank you once again Tricia and Rocco for your hospitality.

We stayed two nights here on a flying visit to Hobart, particularly with a visit to MONA in mind (MONA is within walking distance, but we did drive there).|The hosts Tricia and Rocco were very pleasant, we enjoyed their input into our stay, and enjoyed the breakfast time in the kitchen area. It is an embracing experience, you do sit at the table with the other guests as well. Excellent breakfast by the way, we did choose the full breakfast option. Apparently Tricia hand makes the available jams from local fruits, all very nice.|Our room was delightful and comfortable, the ensuite bathroom fully adequate for our requirements.|As well as breakfast, there is the availability of coffee or tea in the guest lounge room, and some lovely cake to help yourself to! (Was a chocolate cake on our stay).|The old building has a certain charm, although not entirely sound proofed and the floors react to people moving about. There are a few internal steps on the guest floor, as well as steps down to the breakfast and recreation area.|We really enjoyed our experience. |Thanks Tricia and Rocco.|

We spent 5 nights at Undine and were very happy we did. The highlight was the warmth and friendliness of the owners Patricia and Rocco. They made us feel very much at home and were ever helpful in our exploration of Hobart. Comfy rooms, great breakfast and fresh baked cake over a cup of tea at days end all helped to make the experience a memorable one. Highly recommended.

We have been fortunate to travel to many to many places around the world, many times staying at B&B's. Undine is a truly wonderful place to stay where Roco and Patricia will make you most welcome. Very comfortable and clean rooms.||The breakfasts are excellent and when you come back from touring around you will find great homemade cakes, plus tea and coffee, waiting for you.||||Then perhaps later at night, subject to availability, you can relax with a swim in the warm Hydro-pool (30 degrees C) before getting into a very comfortable bed.||||Great company to be with and to have enjoyable conversations over breakfast.||We stayed 7 nights in total and just loved it.||John Roseblade

This B&B is really lovely. It was wonderful to stay in such a lovely heritage home. It was wonderfully preserved and looked after. It looked lovely from the outside, complete with pretty gardens - and inside, the rooms were beautifully decorated - comfortable and clean. The hosts were so nice - friendly and very kind. Breakfast was very good - home cooking was quite special, plus we were made to feel very welcome. The parking was so convenient. Wish we could have stayed longer. Hopefully we might get to go again.

Very comfortable enjoyable stay. Convenient location and hosts Patricia and Rocco very welcoming and friendly. Nice touch with home baked chocolate cakes and muffins. Patricia very accommodating when we had to delay our booking by one day because of cancelled flights.
