Thank you Ben for a wonderful chilled out week in this scenic location. Everything you could ask for and more...Thank you also to Jacki for her wonderful stories and peaceful nature. .Highly recommend supporting Ben and his wonderful lodge in picturesque surroundings. I can not speak highly enough of my experience at Tranquil Point. I stayed for 2 weeks and found it very difficult to leave. The propert is georgeous!!! Breathtaking ocean views from the bedroom ( best sleep I’ve had in years), and a beautiful open garden that leads straight down to 2 private beaches... absolutely stunning to watch the sunrise from. The peace and quiet Tranquil Point provides makes it the perfect place to get away and reset. ||The owner Ben, was so warm and joyful as a host and his beautiful dog sassy was sweet and an absolute delight to have around. I have already booked my next 2 week stay in March and endeavour to holiday here in the future. ||My recommendation: if anyone wants or needs to find the peace and joy in life again... this is definitely the place to go.

Amazing spot, superb Accoms and what a great Host Ben is!||||Can’t recommend this place more highly!||||The approach can be deceiving along a potholed gravel road but on entering the property you are transported to the perfect get away spot!||We were greeted by Ben and given a tour of the property/ Accoms and delighted to find spots where one can have ‘alone’ time or mix with other guests which we did early evening on the deck to share travel stories and pick up hints on local spots to check out!||The Accoms were spotless and everything well equipped especially the kitchen where one can cook if desired!||Love being able to stroll down to the waters edge and swim safely! A delight in what was a bit of a heatwave in Tassie for the days we were travelling!||A fire pit area is available nd was a great spot overlooking the water for morning coffee!||||Great stay….didn’t want to leave! Will be back!||Thanks Ben!

Along a winding road from the township of Cygnet, Tasmania, you will find the aptly named Tranquil Point. Located in the heart of the Huon Valley; the road snakes along the coastline. Eventually, presenting you with an area known as Deep Bay; hang a right and here you will find the peaceful yoga retreat that is Tranquil Point.||||Tranquil Point is set on three acres of land, which boasts 270 degree views of the ocean. It offers accommodation for up to 14 guests in 6 spacious and simply furnished rooms, as well as an organic shop, yoga school and a place to unwind and forget the world during your stay.||||The dedicated yoga school at Tranquil Point teaches classes every day except Tuesdays. For those wanting to experience Bikram Yoga, there are beginner level classes that run daily. Bikram Yoga consists of 26 postures repeated twice, over a ninety minute period in a 40 degree heated environment. To say the least, it's one hell of a workout and a fantastic experience that left us feeling energised; unlike the gym which can sometimes leave you feeling totally sapped!||||Ben who instructs most of the classes is a great instructor and a fantastic host. As soon as we arrived at Tranquil Point, we were greeted by Alison, Ben's intern who treated us like family and made us feel incredibly welcome. We enjoyed herbal tea sitting next to a toasty fire.||||The organic shop on the property is also open to the public and locals, and has a lot of local organic produce as well as a selection of other organic items. Let Ben know that you would like to browse and he will happily open the shop up for you.||||Overall our experience was a peaceful one. The yoga left us feeling relaxed and the food that Alison cooked up that night was a meal to remember. Thank you Tranquil Point!

My husband and I stayed in the Oak room and was welcomed by Ben and his partner on arrival. My husband has some mobility issues. One of the first questions he asked me was have you eaten, as it was late. They were cooking roast lamb and vegetables and they shared their meal with us! What beautiful people and area! Highly recommended 👌

It's a genuine heaven on Earth! Absolute reconnection with your own body and mind and with the stunning nature which literally surrounds you! If you need to switch off, take a break, concentrate on yourself Tranquil Point is the place where you need to go
Ben is one of the most welcoming person I have ever met and goes beyond to make your stay exceptional! I was absolutely in love with Ben's dog Sassie! Organic food available from Ben's own garden! Once I'll get chance I want to come back again! One of the top place in Tasmania!

Highly recommend this accommodation located in the southern part of Tassie. The homestead is spick and span while also being cosy and well provisioned with all the facilities one could want. As a solo traveller, this was the perfect getaway. I also really enjoyed practising Bikram yoga here in the adjoining studio. Ben is a great host. I plan to visit again someday.
