What a fantastic lace to stay. The caravan park is clean, well maintained, and the service was wonderful. The cabins were perfect for our little family. And the caravan blocks looked good too. The location was fabulous, right across the road from a gorgeous beach and a playground for kids. We had lunch at the RSL which was nice and we got pizzas from the old post office. Everyone was so friendly. We loved our little getaway in Dover

For $45 we got a slab. Camp kitchen had no protection from the weather. Bathrooms were beautiful but we had to pay $1 for a 3 minute shower. No control over the water flow, took nearly a minute for the hot water to come through. I question their 3 minutes!

Not the nicest caravan park. Boasts a "modern" camp kitchen, not sure what was modern about it. Open to the elements, no oven, cooking equipment, or washing up detergent. Tea towels looked like they had been used to wipe the floor with. Paid showers, which I strongly object to, especially when you aren't told about it when checking in. Didn't help that we got no sleep because of the loud music and singing until 3.30am!!! from the house at the front.

Great caravan park. We stayed 4 nights. And explored from there. Good place to base yourself. So quiet. The concrete is great to park your van on and the grass areas to step onto are fantastic. The new amenities block is fantastic. Fantastic park. Well done.

Great location for exploring the south, especially if you like hiking - around an hour to cockle Creek, huonville, tahune air walk, Hartz national park. Owners are spending a lot of money improving the site. The new caravan pads means less mud, the new amenities block (and the old one) are functional and kept clean. An information sheet about the site might be helpful on arrival (like some other campsites do) so you know about the new coin converter machine ($1 for a shower and machine saves troubling the owner). Some nights there was excessive noise from individual campers past midnight which may put some families off - generally it's quiet but maybe a reminder to campers about excessive noise at night would be good. Would recommend overall.

We stayed here for our xmas break the owners were the most friendly people u could fine we even had a car issue and they helped us out with it very dog and child friendly park will definitely be staying here again

Absolutely appalled at the state of the whole place, particularly amenities block. It looked like the place had not been cleaned for weeks as there was a thick layer of bird droppings on the hand basin, bench and hand air dryer. Floors had not been cleaned as evidence of stains and many leaves on the floor. There was debris in urinal trough.
The charge of $45 a night was extremely excessive for the state of the facilities and a hot shower cost $1 for 3 minutes. There was no hot water in the hand basins.
There was no one in attendance other than a very sad cockatoo. It would be better to close the park rather than users calling it “The Dover Dump”
