What a beautiful and charming B&B. Amazing gardens, spectacular views over the river. The rooms were spotlessly clean and have everything you could ever need for your stay. The owners were so lovely.

If you are looking for a homely, peaceful and idyllic place to stay, look no further.
Donalea is picturesque, quiet and comfortable. The Riverview apartment is spacious and private with views of the river and your own private garden.
The beds are comfortable offering a cozy place to rest your head after a long day exploring the beautiful region.
The kitchen is well appointed with everything you might need, including a washing machine and access to an external clothesline, indoor clothes airer and ironing facilities.
Relax on your own private balcony off a comfortable lounge/dining area.
Donalea is spotlessly clean, simply unpack and enjoy.

We have loved spending time here and will definitely be back in the future.

Our 2 night stay was brilliant.
The unit was very clean and tidy and in excellent condition. It has a beautiful private backyard with views over the bay. The owner is a very happy, easygoing person to talk to.
We would definitely stay here again, if we came back to the area.

This is the perfect place to stay in the Huon Valley. A beautiful 1920s house with wonderful hosts. From the home baked bread, advice on places to eat out to making sure the wood fire was on for when we got back each day to thaw out our tropical bones Don and Leanne couldn't be better hosts. The bed was comfy and the view spectacular. Highly recommended.

We stayed 3 nights in the two bedroom self contained apartment. It was very private and had all the amenities that makes your stay enjoyable. Don & Leanne were excellent hosts but did not intrude on our privacy. They added personal touches (like home made fruit cake on arrival) that were very much appreciated. The location provided an excellent base to explore all the treasures of the Huon Valley with a miriad of eating place options within a short driving distance. We would highly recommend Donalea for a couple with or without a couple of children.

Don and Leanne were great hosts. Lovely breakfast with fresh local produce. The quietest sleep for a long time. A well presented home and spectacular garden. We ended up staying two nights!
