Was taken here for dinner on a beautiful evening.
We had flaming sardines, lamb, beef & gorgeous cheese dish.
We coupled these with a glass of superb wine each .
The ambience was wonderful - slanting evening sunshine on timber and glass.
A memorable experience.

The food at Harvest & Light was absolutely outstanding, and the service was equally brilliant. The team went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. They also have an incredible range of wines that perfectly complement their dishes. A must-try is the flaming sardines—they were absolutely amazing! We had a recommendation from a friend so did expect this to be special and we were utterly delighted with the food, service and atmosphere. Always reassuring for me to see flowers on the table and the overall care taken - how lovely it makes you feel on entering. The food was delicious with well considered flavours, excellent drink choices (mulled wine in a beautiful pottery goblet) and try not to buy everything available at the pantry.

After a famous Japanese lunch, I stumbled upon this place and was pleasantly surprised by what I found. This spot is a treasure trove of pickles, condiments, and wine. The staff are incredibly friendly and engaging, offering great conversation about their unique pickles. I highly recommend stopping by for a tasting platter – it's a delightful experience you don't want to miss.

A little treasure!
Beautiful food, surroundings and service with smiles. Add the bonus of being dog friendly.
The choice of share plates and drinks is wonderful.

We went to this place after a walk in the Hartz Mountains. The wine selection is next level, and the small plates were among the tastiest things I’ve eaten! We had flaming sardines (which even my non-fish enjoying partner loved), and the most wonderful tomato dish with fennel greens and basil - it was like a mouthful of sunshine! The service was glorious - an absolutely gem of a place!

This place is a little gem 💎
We called in inquisitively and we’re absorbed in the warmth of this beautiful place with beautiful service.
We tried a couple of locally brewed ciders which were on point and then ordered two light meals = delicious 👌
Then we had a cheesecake each and I am happy to share that’s the best I’ve had for a long time.
100% worth a visit 🫶
