Wow amazing weekend away at this luxurious retreat ! Highly recommend !!! Views from every angle looking out over the lake and mountains. Accommodation is 5 star * Location is perefect with delicious cafes and lovely wineries close by. Hiking and white sands of Little Roaring Beach only 30 minutes away. Cosy fireplaces inside and on expansive outdoor entertaining area complete with BBQ. Soak in the hot tub or splash in the pool. Feeding the animals and walks around the scenic property, relaxing with a platter and glass of wine on the private jetty are highlights. Can’t wait to return to this piece of paradise .

We recently held our intimate wedding at Alto Franklin. The accommodation itself is gorgeous, with all the modern fittings you need. The interior space is elegant and serene, the exact vibe you want when you are busy putting a wedding together! Waking up to a beautiful sunrise over the Huon River with the mountains in the background was incredible, and the stunning location ensured that our wedding photos are that much more memorable!

Louella and her team ensured that our check in experience was a breeze, they were flexible with check-in/check-out times and were in regular contact so we never felt like we were left out in the dark.

Staying at Alto Franklin is an absolute must!

Spectacular! I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. Everything you could ever want in a luxurious escape, and things you didn't even know you wanted! The accommodation itself is luxe, so many spaces to soak in the panoramic views. My fave was sunrise from to 40degree hot tub looking out over the river and mountains. Choice of 4 fireplaces on-site. 10mins to fabulous food and wine, breathtaking hikes 30mins away. I was looking forward to our girls long weekend and was not disappointed. Surpassed my expectations, recharged the batteries. I will definitely be back.

The breathtaking views , fire places, hot tub , farm animals ,tastefully appointed home and those special touches- home made bread, eggs, stocked pantry,Percy’s relish, locally grown apples, home made biscuits and mini bar selection made this one of my best stays!
