I come to Pineapple Hotel almost every week for their lunch special, and the chicken schnitzel never disappoints. It’s always crispy, golden, and perfectly cooked, with a juicy inside and a satisfying crunch. The portion size is generous, and the side of chips makes it a great value meal. I also always get extra if of the mushroom gravy! The atmosphere here is relaxed, and the service is consistently friendly. If you’re after a solid pub-style schnitty at a good price, this place is a winner! Also come on the weekend for live music!

We love this place!
We came here everyday during our stay in Kangaroo point. We love their foods starting from homemade roasts specials to their desserts! Everything were delicious!Very affordable prices too.
Everyone was very friendly especially Gerry and Claire.

Robert the Manager/owner were exceptional. (We really appreciate his help when we needed. He called the cab for us because our phone was not set up from 🇨🇦to🇦🇺service at that time)

We highly recommend this place!

It’s always been the place to go to for a great feed and beautiful well priced wine. 🍷 I love coming here. The steaks are amazing and the price is even better. Lots of places to sit and eat. We love watching the afl and the amazing memorabilia around the walls. They always have green beacon beer on special and it’s the best.

We went to the restaurant during the week for an early dinner.

The venue is huge, and we didn’t have any issues finding a table.
The toilets are clean, and staff were very friendly.

We ordered a chicken parmy and 300g rump steak with mushroom sauce.

Steak 10/10
We got the steak special for $22 which they do on Tuesdays from 3pm. Cooked to perfection. Delicious sauce.

Parmy 4/10
Nicely melted cheese, however, where was the chicken? I could taste the flour more than I could taste the chicken for most parts. Disappointing. I expected a lot more.

Oh my god. I went to this place for the first time last Tuesday and wow. $15 lunch specials! I had the steak sandwich and omg. The best steak sandwich I’ve ever had a pub like seriously. Chips were fresh. ALSO PLEASE never change the Dianne sauce. It’s so perfect. I love Dianne sauce and that’s how it should be.
I took my mum and boyfriend back on Sunday for the $22 300g rump steak and it was cooked perfectly. It was out quick and great quality. The prices are really good.

I will stick to the steak. Normally I would have given high praise but received a lasagna biscuit on my first serve the picture is what is left of my second attempt. Reformation on flour would be kind to be called lasagna with a visit from the correct flavours. I feel a rebellion coming. The roast pork was really good, the gravy that came with it made me regret my choice. That was before I even tried it. Putting it down to a bad day.

It's simply a nice place to be. Wonderful staff. The lunch roast is the best for $15 (cheers to the kitchen staff)
And a jug can be as little as $17. I've paid triple for less quality. And if the owner is on site he will shake you by the hand a say great to see you again. It doesn't get any better, except Sunday afternoon you get some brilliant live music. So it does get better 😆😆😆

Absolutely love the Piney - been a staple pub choice almost all of my adulthood - particularly the steaks - so you can imagine my despair when we dined with friends (also huge Pineapple Hotel advocates) and 3/4 of the group ordered medium-rare steaks only to get medium to well done - what a shame. We raised it with a staff member who apologised and offered free drinks - which we didn't need but all the same, I'm not used to walking away from the Pineapple Hotel and not praising the steak - I felt bad.
