Awesome friendly staff, very reasonably priced drinks and bistro meals. Super tasty! We will be back for sure, such a cool vibe and was great to see so many playing barefoot bowls and relaxing on the greens.

Been here twice now, on both occasions it was for a party. Service is pretty friendly, the party food was pretty good. Their menu is pretty small though. Would have been good if they had a steak somewhere on the menu or some kind of curry with rice dish on there too. But from what I could see the portions were pretty decent. (Photos are mostly of party food). Otherwise a couple games of lawn bowls with some friends with some drinks is a good time.

Ordered the rump steak cooked by chef Richard and it was delicious!! Cooked to perfection, and the chips were da bomb! Yummmmm. Will order again.

Drinks well priced, food as good as you can expect from a bowls club. Service a huge letdown, however. Staff incredibly rude to a friend of mine whose first language isn’t English. He asked for “the $20 jug” that the people in front had ordered and was met with the response of “ what? You need to know what you’re ordering..”. Prices of drinks seemingly changing on the fly with each order as each staff member seemed to have a different idea of what they were.

Loved the Bowlo for our christmas party. The whole place was fun. Very clean and we were well trained on the bowls! The food was awesome and the drinks cold! We had a blast and our team of 40 loved it! I especially loved the separate private area we had for our awards.

The team at NFBC are always polite and friendly. The breakfast for the event I attend was fresh and lovely and just the right amount.

The coffee was nice and as a historic club it’s great to be able to support it.

We had our work Christmas party at New Farm Bowls Club and the team was a pleasure to work with while organising everything. They were very relaxed and helped us work out everything we needed. On the actual day we needed some extra food which was brought out quickly, and everyone had a great time floating between lawn bowls outside and board games inside the aircon.

Great place to have our team end of year celebration. We did barefoot bowls which was genuinely so much fun, well organised by the club and the greens were in excellent condition.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating to all the large groups occupying the space at the time and seemed to keep up with all the events going on at this time of year.

We had a breastfeeding mum in our group and a couple of staff members made a locker room comfy and private for her to attend to her little one away from the crowds.

I did have one unpleasant experience with a young lady who was taking and serving bistro orders. I asked her for extra aioli with my simple chips order which she said no to but then when another guy in my group asked for it she was happy to give it to him! He also ordered the same thing as me five minutes later but got his order well before mine 😆 she must not have liked me very much or must have liked him quite a bit more 😜
