We used to be regulars at the restaurant at the RQYS and always found the food to be decent for the price. However, after their recent renovations, we’ve returned a few times, only to be disappointed each time by the quality of the food in relation to the cost. With so many other dining options in Manly offering better value and taste, we’re unlikely to return unless there are some significant changes to their current offerings. The location is still beautiful, so I’ll give it two stars for the setting, but unfortunately, the food no longer lives up to expectations.

Beautiful atmosphere and great views of the harbour. I’m sure most patrons enjoy their visit but unfortunately we arrived at a time when it was quite busy. Our food arrived after 2 hours approximately, despite our group enquiring a few times with the staff. Management was apologetic and compensated us accordingly. Again, I’m confident most people rate this venue quite highly. It’s a shame our experience was less than favourable. We will be keen to give the bistro another shot in the future.

Attended and thoroughly enjoy dinner and Faulty towers show. The food, staff and whole evening delivered a five Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience 😀 thankyou especially Tess who handled a difficult patron with absolute professionalism. Well done.

Great location and venue to eat and drink but was very disappointed in the price of the food for what we got. Overpriced is sadly the norm there. The beer seemed flat. Some of the staff were very pleasant. We loved Taylah, she was the best.
Breakfast was nice.
We’ll visit again only because of the convince to the motel.

Went for lunch today 15 January 2025. The menu was very basic and, unfortunately, not very appetising! One cheese burger, one salt and pepper squid and a caesar salad with prawns came to $90.00.The wine which can be purchased at Dan Murphys for $16.00 was $42.00. The cheese burger which came with fries (which wasn't mentioned on the menu) was quite small and my wife said quite tasteless! Added to this was that the fries had salt on which I specifically asked for them not to! The caesar salad was said to have white anchovies- I found half of one - and I orders prawns as an extra for $10.00 and got three small to medium sized prawns which were pretty tasteless. We have been gong to the RQYS bar and restaurant off and on for about 20 years and this, without doubt, is the worst food and service, (the waiter couldn't find our table number apparently and then when he did eventually find table 415 he accused us of moving from another table which was entirely untrue) we have ever had. Now I don't mind paying $132.00 for a small simple lunch when it tastes good but the food today was pretty awful. We will not be back until a decent menu is offered again. Incidentally I asked if there was another menu as shown on your website but was told the bar menu was the only wherever you sat!
