A quite but inviting venue that leans to.old world charm. A front bar and a more formal eats out back. Bar service were lovely and up for a chat and made great gin suggestions. The meals pricey and only two vegetarian mains. The servings were ration size but tasty. Would return for a tipple and a bowl of wedges.

We can't thank Emma and the team enough for their efforts in hosting our wedding reception in the Leichhardt Room at the Alliance Hotel! We were a little apprehensive when the management changed 4 months before our big day, but everything turned out swimmingly. Emma was on top of it from the get go, and was incredibly supportive, communicative, helpful and flexible during the planning phase and even went to great lengths to ensure we had the right combination of tables to fit all our guests. We had a few minor issues when drinks and food selections were changed last minute by the venue but I would put that down to them working out the kinks of new management. Their function packages are also very reasonably priced.

The event went off without a hitch thanks to the incredibly professional and approachable team who were entremely attentive and allowed everyone to have an unbelievably good time. Many guests commented on the amazing service.
The food was immaculate, the plating was beautiful and served in a timely fashion. We got so much positive feedback from our guests about enjoying the food. The venue itself is stunning with exposed red brick walls and was the perfect space and atmosphere for our wedding reception. Thank you again to the whole team! Highly recommend!

Great inner city pub with massive functions spaces to cater any event. The food menu is super delicious, and with a cool Game meats menu feature which I haven't seen around much. The staff are friendly and really welcoming.

We hosted our son 21st at the Alliance Hotel in the Leichhardt Room. We considered other venues however once we engaged with Emma we knew the Alliance was the venue for us. There was excellent communication leading up to the event for layout, catering, beverage packages and IT requirements.
This all made for a relaxed enjoyable night for all concerned. The function crew of Morgan, Tom and Wade ensured the night ran smoothly.
I would not hesitate to recommend the Alliance for any future events.

Attended a wedding here upstairs recently. Lovely room, good service and excellent food. Not easy to produce a multiple of medium-rare steaks at the same time! A great atmosphere in the beautiful exposed brick walls of the function room. The only issue is that there is no lift, and there were no lights in the stairwell, so a bit dodgy coming down after the event. But all up, a fabulous evening.

The service was an absolute 10/10, welcoming staff and felt comfortable right away.
The food was quality and even though it wasn't all finished it definitely was worth it!
The decor and atmosphere was unmatched, it was cozy, inviting and the little games placed around were a bonus to keep my 2 year old entertained
Good prices, great staff and beautiful decor. We aren't in the city much but will definitely come back when we are!

We held our Christmas party at this Venue. Emma and her Team were so helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious and presentation first class, and Bar staff were friendly and were always available to mix cocktails and pour drinks.
I highly recommend this venue for a work or personal function.

Incredible from start to finish, we had our staff Christmas party here, down in the private dining room in the cellar. Babies and prams catered for, gluten free happily catered for, service, food, vibes and booze as good as it gets. Well done to the whole crew here, such a great venue!
