Recently travelled across town (55 minutes) on a Saturday morning to try this bakery. I had heard that they did a nice Cronut. Unfortunately when I arrived at 7am I was advised that the cronuts were about an hour from being ready so instead purchased a sultana loaf to take away with me.

Maybe the sultanas had to be purchased separately as the loaf I received had less sultanas in it than the commercial loaves at the big supermarkets. Was more like eating sweet white bread than a sultana loaf. No spice (some cinnamon maybe?) through the dough either.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Rainforest Bakery in Brisbane, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. The cakes, breads, and rolls they offer are simply amazing. They recently catered for a function and each bite was a burst of flavor and freshness, leaving me craving for more. What impressed me the most was their dedication to catering to various dietary needs. As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, I was thrilled to find the best gluten-free bakery in Brisbane right here at Rainforest Bakery. The quality and taste of their gluten-free creations were unparalleled. I highly recommend this bakery for anyone seeking delicious treats and exceptional gluten-free options.

If you have Coeliac disease or want Gluten-free treats, then Rainforest Bakery in North Brisbane (101 Camelia Ave, Everton Hills) is well worth trying. I have only tried their gluten-free items, but I have never been disappointed. They are family-owned and really understand the requirements for those with Coeliac disease! We have also ordered GF birthday cakes that everyone loved. Just phone ahead if you have a specific GF item you want as some GF bakes are done on different days.

Best bakery anywhere. I have lived in Europe, the US and Australia. This is the best. Pastries have all been perfect.

Got the steak and mushroom pie and it was meh. Read some reviews which said they used fresh mushrooms but it turned out to be sliced canned mushrooms which threw the flavour off. The mushrooms were also layered on top of the steak filling instead of being mixed in.

Tried the blueberry Danish and the flavour was good, just wished the pastry was flakey as it was really soggy.

Hubby got the vanilla slice which he said was a huge disappointment, with the icing tasting like what he described as sour milk. Crust wasn't good too.

Service was really nice so it was a shame the food was subpar.

Had a ham and salad roll from there this week, and extremely disappointed. Limited meat and salad in there but handfuls of shredded cheese instead. Really quite horrible and stodgy.
Can’t fault any of their pastries or baking though.
