This is a great inner township walk. The grounds people do a great job of keeping it clean. The walks are very easy along concrete paths. If you want to mix it up a little, go for a walk at dusk where different animals can be heard. This is a great accessible walking park surrounding a huge number of different sports fields and courts.

It is Very disappointing and sad (and yes, in some places disgusting) to see this once beautiful park degenerate so badly and so quickly. I think that the ground staff have given up even trying to keep it nice..Because They Don’t.. I used to compliment them on how nice they kept it but that is definitely not the case now..
Some facilities like bbq tables, covered areas, and entire bbqs have been claimed by individuals 24/7 and are not accessible to the general public any more.
I give it 2 stars out of 5 because nature always provides them down there despite human interference and garbage, I give it 1 star for at least having some facilities still available, albeit often dirty and rubbish filled ones.
With all respect to the genuinely homeless out there (they do need somewhere safe to go) I do wonder if it would get back to its old status of up to 5 stars if All forms of camping or living in any and all public parks were banned, returning free access to all areas and facilities within them to everyone, including council parks maintenance staff.
Would I go there myself? Yes! … I do walk around there sometimes on limited walkways.
Would I take kids there and let them run around freely in all areas? As we were once able to do? No! … It is not safe anymore..
Would I take visitors and kids there for a bbq still? Yes! But Definately restricted to the picnic/playground area.
