My first visit to the café was for a work bonding breakfast session, and it exceeded my expectations. The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious. What a pleasant surprise!

Absolutely amazing! My daughter has been telling mr about this place for about a year and I finally tried it. The menu is so good and with so many wonderful sounding dishes it was a tough choice. I had a cauliflower and goats cheese fritter on the all day breakfast menu, it was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The flavour combination was just perfect and I was so disappointed I couldn't finish the whole plate. My sister had the Reuben sandwich and the brisket was so tasty. My friend, who is gluten intolerant had the eggs Benedict on gluten free toast, she said the bread was really nice, which is something she doesn't get to say often. The coffee was fine, and the juice combinations are really good. The service was fantastic and we arrived 40 minutes before they closed, which was plenty of time, but they were so apologetic that they closed at 1, honestly, it was still heaps of time. There's on street parking down the side road, but there's also parking out the back, via the side road too. I can't wait to go back and try the other dishes. They do say they can cater to specific dietary needs and to simply ask staff, which is great. They also had quite a few vegetarian options. Definitely worth a visit.

Hands down best cafe in this district. The service is always 11/10 and will be greeted with a big smile and friendly hello. The coffee is fantastic. Food is delicious and made with a lot of care and pride. Prices are super reasonable. Currently obsessed with their chicken, avocado and cheese toasty. I highly recommend this lovely cafe - add Grub Street to your list of places to go!

Pleasant service at this friendly neighbourhood cafe which is pet friendly outside in a cute little courtyard area. We had breakfast here & enjoyed the coffee. Food was basic fare. The omelette just had sliced ham inside, with sliced cheese. Indonesian Nasi Goreng dish I had was tasty, but they forgot the peanuts, I was happy though because they made a vegetarian version for me on request

Service and standards are a bit hit and miss. When they're good, they're excellent - but when they're not, they're slow and underwhelming.

Breakfast pics attached was awesome. 15 minutes wait for banana bread when the place had two other tables is poor.

I will probably give the place one more go.

My friend and I were passing by this cafe and decided to drop in for a coffee. We were highly impressed by the convenience it offered, with its dedicated parking area making it very easy for us to park. Moreover, their Nasi Goreng was absolutely delicious, and I wholeheartedly recommend trying it! The service was excellent as well. We'll definitely be back the next time we pass by.

Not rated for food as only had coffee. Wedged in a walkway between Samford Road and a car park sits Grub Street. Indoor and outdoor tables to be had. Friendly staff and good coffee. The outdoor area catches a breeze and while the traffic is nearby it's always moving and never gets too loud. Some 'interesting' characters drop in here.

Such a fantastic little Cafe! My partner and I were looking for a new local after moving and I definitely think we've found it! I had the avocado sourdough toast with fetta and Balsamic dressing - it was wonderful, especially when paired with their "Wet Chai" which is Chai latte powder soaked in Soy Milk then brewed. It was awesome! Will definitely be going back soon!!
