Shaking my head In disbelief- how do you get it THIS bad?

I just got home and opened up my my chicken avo wrap ($17 I think? - was quick to be made and wrapped quite well). The
whole thing fell apart in my hands during the first bite.

Chicken was a like a skinny piece of cold cardboard, bacon was fatty, gristly and undercooked. Once I’d taken it apart (wasn’t difficult), I was kind of disgusted at what a poor excuse this was for quality food. The “Avo” part of the chicken avo wrap was probably no more than a tablespoon’s worth, smeared unceremoniously on just one portion of the tortilla (which was so cheap it was wet and mushy, even with barely anything to make it so). The whole thing was unseasoned, too. Not even did they try to rescue this worse-than-hospital-food with herbs and salt and pepper.

C’mon guys: show a bit more pride in your food. This is embarrassing for you.

Atmosphere was really busy and all of the wait staff did not look happy to be there. The person who took my order at the counter was the expection.

The double chocolate frappe was good. Their cappuccino was probably a 1/5 if you're a coffee snob like myself. We ordered the Breakfast Board and The pesto sandwich. The sandwich was missing sun-dried tomato's that was specifically ordered. The breakfast board to share was not given with sharing plates. We couldn't finish everything and asked for take doggy boxes. They gave us 2 open containers rather than ones with lids as they didn't have stock. Even though they were taking Uber eats orders. This was not pleasant for the food on the way home. Food came kind of quickly and we appreciated that but the order was missing something.

The place was so busy and several customers would walk in and be confused about where to order or sit down as there was noone managing front of house. It's was chaotic to experience as wait staff would walk past and wait for customers to approach them if confused. Customers who did not were left to the confusion. They had indoor and outdoor seating and are located conveniently close to a woolworths. Easy to grab and go which is probably what I would recommend.

Had been here once before with my partner and he was begging to go back for their yummy raspberry muffin, while they were out of that one he was offered a mixed berry muffin instead while it was missing the cream (maybe it’s just on the raspberry one?) It was still
just as good in his opinion (no picture as he ate it in 2 seconds). He also got the ham and cheese croissant, while it was burnt a little I understand it as they do burn fairly easily, and also a bowl of chips which were plenty salty and crispy. I got the chicken avocado and cheese toasty, it was fantastic and they didn’t skimp of the avo like lots of places do. Bottom line, the cafe was really good value for money and the service was fast and efficient. Will definitely be returning. 😊

Vito's was our local back in the early days of it opening and as massive fans, we were very excited to finally visit again.

While the food is still delicious and the atmosphere nice for a weekend brunch, our experience this time was soured slightly because when we requested a side of hash browns, the staff member serving us told us due to a shortage, they weren't available... within minutes, we saw hash browns being delivered to the table next to us, then more to other nearby tables. Thinking we may be mistaken, we checked with another staff member to see if they were in fact hash browns and were told that yes, they were. Apparently they were only available with certain dishes? If so, that's understandable, but it should be specified on the menu and we would have appreciated a more honest response from the first staff member.

We realise we may sound nit-picky, but due to dietary restrictions, there were very few items on the menu available to one of us, so not being able to order hash browns meant half of those options were removed 🤷‍♀️

Still recommend Vito's, however, as it's an Everton Park gem and we love supporting family owned businesses.

My partner and I have been living in Everton Park for 3.5 years and are honestly yet to find a better local cafe. The food here is always excellent (with seasonal changes which keeps it interesting), the service friendly and fast, and consistently great coffee.

First time visiting and it was a nice surprise. Food was lovely! I had the vegie stack which I would get again and I found the service very friendly. Only wish is that there were available plug sockets to charge a laptop while doing some work emails.
