Steak was nice and juicy, really good!
Averages prices, nice and clean, nice view if you can get a seat at the front.

Steaks were cooked perfectly but none of us could eat the chips due to the horrible tasting seasoning they were drowning in. Do the chefs taste test?

My son’s kids meal even had the seasoning. It was a really odd taste of lemon, chilli and salt. Very strong and not nice at all. Not great when all he ate was 6 nuggets for dinner. I shared half my vegetables with him. We were both left still hungry though with half of our meals not being eaten. My husband luckily had mash potato.

If you’re going to put this seasoning on meals you should advertise it in the menu descriptions so people can opt out.

The kids menu with the colouring sheet on the back we were given was incorrect. It advertised the nuggets as coming with salad and chips. But it only comes with chips now.

The outside playground was an absolute hit and we will come back just for that. Next time I will order at the counter instead of the app and ask for no seasoning on our chips and use the salt shaker on the table.

The location was good and there is a great playground for the kids. The food however, left a lot to be desired. Prices are fairly comparable to other places, but the parmigiana had such a bizarre taste I stopped halfway through fearing the chicken was off. Irrespective of the taste, it was so overcooked and tough I probably would have given up anyway.

The kids burger came out with an extremely dark brown, overcooked bun. I wonder if anyone sees the food leaving the kitchen and asks themselves “would I be happy if I paid money to be served this?”. To be fair the calamari entree was delicious and I didn’t come down with food poisoning. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We had our staff Christmas party at the hotel last Friday. The venue was perfect. Staff very friendly and chilled and the food was outstanding! Also plenty of things going on like karaoke and a comedy night. We all had a fantastic night. Would highly recommend for a function.

FOOD REVIEW: My Husband and I attended there for Lunch. They had a "lunch specials menu" we ordered Chicken Snitzel each, 16$ each. Well, when it arrived we both could not help but laugh, they served us with 1/2 snitzel each, the chicken was actually cut down the middle, seemed more like a kids meal. Normally the Snitzel is $27. They don't state on the menu 1/2 a snitzel. For a jug of Lemon Lime and Bitters is $14 compared to the RSL $8. We left the Hotel feeling not full nor satisfied and that is when you realise that you have not been catered for sufficiently when u must eat something else at home. We also dined there in November and fish and chips was $31 each. We have of course dined at the RSL where you pay $12.50 on members days, and also dined at the Fish n Chips Cafe and paid $21 and is better quality than the Hotel. A very disappointing dining venue, never will return there. The staff are not very friendly and happy.

Went to see The Angels on 30/11/24.
Great Show.
Food was fairly good. But the main meal was on our table shortly after our starter was served. Had no time to enjoy the starter. Great wood fired pizza. Rump steak was good.
The seafood platter was OK.
Value for money was pretty good.
The major disappointment for the night was the lack of bar staff. For such an event people were queuing up all night. Then they shut the back bar down and that made the side bar even busier.
On saying this I would definitely go back.
I was on holidays up from Geelong. I think I will return in late February to see Ross Wilson.
