While it is a nice spot to sit, 2 coffees and a muffin $20 is getting a bit steep. We definitely don't visit here as much as we use to. This use to be our favourite place.

Stopped here for lunch yesterday. Nice position overlooking the Hinze dam. We ate in the outdoor area that is covered with umbrellas and shade sails, so even though it was a hot steamy day, it was comfortable.

Menus had plenty of choices to suit most tastes and preferences. We went to the counter to place our orders and in short notice, our drinks were delivered to the table, and a very reasonable short time after that, our food came along.

We were all pleased with the various choices, I had a steak sandwich on Turkish bread that was the daily special, and was impressed to find a decent thickness steak cooked perfectly and nice and tender. Chips were red hot out of the deep fryer and very crunchy. Well done chef!

The others were similarly pleased with their meal choices.
Prices were reasonable, around $20-$30 for proper mains, and the servings were generous.

Beautiful location with a view. The food is always presented beautifully and the drinks are always good. Service is great I love the personal friendly nature of the staff. Unfortunately the eggs were ice cold and undercooked and the fritters were also ice cold. Food has been average on all visits and yet the view makes up for it.

The food here is delicious, and I would say it was made with love! My niece really loves her kiddy meal lasagna, and the lady who's been serving us said everything is homemade. Their food is simple but yet delicious. Beautiful views, too. They have the option of indoor or outdoor dining, and we went indoor few months ago as it's a super hot day. I highly recommend this place. Great for family and kids too.

By far my favourite go to cafe on the gold coast. Away from the noise and traffic of the coast, the peaceful and pleasant surrounds of the bush and dam.
The food is superb, coffee excellent and best service I've had in a long time. Do yourself a favour and get there during the week for easy parking and a seat under the umbrella.

After a nice walk around the dam I stopped in at the cafe for lunch. I had the steak sandwich, it was so delicious. It had a herbed mayo type sauce and it complemented it so well. The steak was tender and the side of chips were crispy and cooked properly (something I’m finding increasingly rare these days for some reason?). The food came out so quickly too. I was very impressed, highly recommended. The view was beautiful too, of course!

Fast friendly service providing delicious food in a relaxing environment with views overlooking the Hinze dam. A pleasant walk along the dam wall after lunch capped off the experience. Great way to spend a few hours away from the coastal crowds.
