I’ve been going to this cafe for the past three months for my morning coffee and they are always so friendly! My favourite spot at the Pines to get coffee. Coffee is nice and strong and any time I’ve had food it’s been amazing.
Highly recommend this cafe!

I'm an uni qual Social Scientist & Counsellor. Not some1 who would write a negative experience for no reason. I've been to this cafe at the Pines twice. 1st time I ordered a smoked salmon/salad sandwich. The bread was very stale! But I didnt say anything, just took bread off & ate the filling! It was very expensive. However last Sun I had been shopping but very unwell. Im waiting on a 6th spinal surg. So I went into this cafe to sit down quietly in a corner & ordered a black Earl Grey tea & a sml hot chips. The chips came out in a sml silver raised container. About a lge cup size. The chips were quite obviously from a frozen pack. Thin, VERY overcooked, dark brown & hard, really no obvious potato inside. So I called waitress over & asked her politely if I could have fresh chips . Next minute BOTH Asian husband & wife came over to where I was sitting in the booth & started to castigate, argue & belittle e in front of other customers! I could NOT believe it! When the young waitress took the chips away when I asked for fresh ones, I was reading my Twitter msgs. I said that I should post a photo of the chips. I was joking. Then male owner came over out of the kitchen with his hands on his hips yelling at me saying he had 52,000 followers on Tik Tok!!! What the hell does that have to do with burnt o'cooked chips! At this point, after 15 mins I still didnt have my tea They eventually gave me fresh chips but I could see the husband/wife raving on FOR AGES in the kitchen! While sitting there I looked at the booths & surroundings. The booths were covered in filthy old brocade, dirty walls, food remnants on seats. This cafe needs a total clean modern revamp & different owners! I will never go back!

I got the ‘Bruschetta’ from the breakfast menu to take away.
This consisted of 5 cherry tomatoes and maybe 10 tiny cubes of avocado for $16.50 I didn’t open the box until I had already got home otherwise I would have taken it back.
Absolutely zero value for money.

$7.50 for an iced coffee with plant based milk. Extremely overpriced for the coffee quality.. tiny size also (I will share a picture). What happened to the $4-$5.50 coffee days?
Might as well support a small family owned cafe down the road.

What a wonderful little place! Very quaint and a lovely atmosphere but probably what made it a stand out experience was the staff!! The young bubbly lass was so delightful - so friendly and smiley - such a breath of fresh air to be served by someone so warm and welcoming who in my opinion loved her job! I wish I had asked her name but it was last Friday 24/11 when we visited, around 2pm but I made a trip back up to the counter to thank her specially
The cofffee was beautiful and the little bite sized treats were delicious! I highly recommend this lovely little cafe to anyone shopping at The Pines Elanora! 😌
