Talaroo Talaroo Talaroo.... if it wasn't for the cleaner having a yarn and showing respect, it would have been a 3 star, the reception girl (Lyn) seemed under the pump and shows herself as a little rude, but the longer we stayed the more you can see thats just the way she is.. blunt... we stayed for 3 nights on a powered site, the amenities are well equipped but would be a little under the pump during the busy season with only x1 washing machine and x3 male and x3 female showers, at about 40 sites. The only thing free was the swimming pools at reception, it was a big disappointment when we found out we had to pay to see the hot springs bridge walk at $110 a family but we couldn't do that because we have a dog and it wouldn't be fair to leave one kid at camp to look after the dog

The pool soaking was nice with toilets close by. lyn convinced us not to do the afternoon soaks because it would be too hot but the afternoons to us was beautiful $50 for 40 mins and $25 every time after that.

Oh yeah and finally.... We were told the water is potable but all the notes in the emails and site maps say non potable. And the taste was absolutely horrible.

I would recommend visiting this place, and seeing it for yourself. The Dam behind the fence was amazing with all the kangaroos, Ducks, big birds and more. I would have loved to of been able to pull my camper over that hill and watched that view all afternoon.

Thanks again

We had the best few days here..Not too busy so we had plenty of space around our unpowered campsite. Perfect sunny days and starry nights. Very clean amenities block and modern camp kitchen including 2 large fridges, microwave, 4 bbq hot plates and stove top. Lots of wildlife.
We did the hot spring tour and private soak tub, both fabulous. All staff from the ranger guide to cleaners, park managers and admin staff all super friendly πŸ™‚ delicious coffee and scones too. Keen to go back next year. Thank you team Talaroo!

I had the most incredible time at Talaroo Hot springs. The glamping tents were so luxurious, private, comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were modern and very clean.
The tour was a highlight for me, Lavinia did such a good job. It was heartfelt but also very educational and was evident how passionate she is about the country and its rich history and being able to share it with visitors.
I really enjoyed the fact the park isn’t massive, because it meant it wasn’t packed with people, which meant it was so relaxing and quiet and gives you a real opportunity to wind down and relax and take in the beautiful scenery.
I liked having the option of the hot soak pool and the cold pool to cool down in.
I have enjoyed every part of my stay and cannot wait to come back!

Incredible place! It is quiet and remote with the best stargazing you can imagine. We did the hot spring tour and stayed in the new eco tents with private hot spring fed baths. Highly recommended

Great place to visit, about 5km off the highway to the homestead and park. Extreamly well appointed. Ots a nature and cultural park. I felt welcomed and comfortable. Some walks/bike trails. Take a walking tour and discover the springs and tubs and pool.

New establishment. Amenities are spotless. Great camp kitchen. Beautiful bush setting with huge covered area at Cafe to sit in the shade. Lovely hot spring baths in a STUNNING setting. Manager explained they listened to feedback and reduced the cost of the private baths to $30.00 which is quite good!

Dirt road access to area is solid and well maintained.

If you love this great sunburnt country....this is a magnificent place to experience and support Indigenous people.
