As a seasoned motel traveller and frequent visitor to Toowoomba, I had only moderate expectations before I arrived. The drive to Toowoomba itself was like a fever dream; religious signs punctuated by a red elephant, a pet store with an inappropriate name, and a lot of greenery.

The motel was exactly what you’d expect for the price. The TV in the room barely works, the fridge shelf is broken, there’s no phone but a sign saying to dial 6 for food orders. I had to close the bathroom window because of the rude noise coming from the tennis court next door. There’s a bit more than a spit of milk to make a coffee in the morning and it’s $15 for egg on toast. Good thing I packed food for us because I’m such a tight arse. The inside has cute, retro features such as a disused intercom and wooden cupboards. All the usual amenities are inside, would have loved some bowls for cereal. The shower was exceptionally clean and the water pressure was delightful.
No, the pool is not heated, nor my spirit.
But I live on, to see more motels and travel more roads! It was a good stay, thank you. We will definitely be back.

I stayed here for one night, normally I stay in a nice big hotel in town, but all full..I found this place on my Maps App and called...A very helpful young lady answered and told me what i needed to know...I was reluctant at first but did drive in and book for the night...I was very very surprised at what I was given..It was clean, comfortable and the local pub at only 500mtrs fed me well...My car was safe, I felt safe and I had the pleasure while having a cigarette outside of watching a Mustang fly Low Level above my head ...I am not a plane spotter or will ever be one...But watching that and hearing the engines roar past overhead made my day...I deal with cars, not planes..No noise at night, off the street, well maintained...I will be back next time, but please ask that Mustang to do another fly past...Highly recommended for a small Motel..They looked after me...

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. |Would stay again no problem. Rate was reasonable. The only thing was pillow was really hard, I normally bring my own but forgot but otherwise nice quiet motel cannot hear road noise or noise from other rooms

The ladies are fantastic and very understanding and patient, I met a lady they have there from endeavour foundation which is inspiring and the self containd unit in which my husband and i stayed in was great with all the basic cooking accessories. There is an outdoor undercover area with a huge outdoor setting and BBQ would be great for family gatherings and a pool for those hot days and a tennis court or more active exercising days. We stopped here after getting a referral from a friend. We usually stay somewhere else but thought why not give it a go. Ross the owner is really positive and friendly. He is super motivated and is an all round nice guy. The format of the property is a older style place. This however does not negate its comfort and convenience. The place is huge with big rooms and lots of turning space for cars etc. It has a bonus beat of an area to store trailers etc down the back too, making getting around town for pleasure activities so much easier. The beds are comfy, it has mod cons, the shower was amazing. It was like being in a rain spa! For the price and convenience this really is a knock out. Thanks ross. We will see you again soon!

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Dated sure - still fitted with wall mount tvs perfect for a family with small children, also has chain lock on door (our autistic children are runners) so this added safety measure is aaaamazing. No escapes thus far. Management are lovely, helpful and kind. Overall a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended.The walker family will see you again. Thanks for a lovely start to the Easter weekend.

I have stayed here before and everything has been exceptional. The owners were away and have a wonderful friendly manager named Erica. Thank you Erica as you made my stay with you equally as good as previous visits. Everything exceptionally clean, great hot shower.excellent bed and own undercover parking bay outside the room. Easy motel to find in Toowoomba. Thanks once again Erica and owners. Great value for money.
