The position is perfect, so close to the shops and restaurants. The Cottage is exquisite. Beautifully decorated, comfy beds, air conditioning, an incredible fireplace, absolutely everything you could ever need on a holiday and it’s pet friendly. There is a park straight across the street for walking your pups and Queens Park has a fabulous off leash dog park. This was our second visit to Bannockburn, last time we stayed in the Lodge, also pet friendly. You couldn’t feel safer or more comfortable than either of these properties. The owner is lovely and does not intrude on your stay, but is there if you need her. We will definitely be returning and so will our Staffy Reggie. We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay when visiting Toowoomba

Stayed in the pet friendly lodge for two nights while waiting for a property purchase to settle. Carol has thought of everything to make her guests feel comfortable and at home. The decor, fittings, and personal touches are so wonderful and to say that this place is first class is an understatement. It is also close to all amenities and there is a terrific park across the road if you have a dog to walk like we do.||Would rate higher than five stars if at all possible. Thanks Carol for being such a wonderful host.

My Mum and I stayed in the lodge and it was just beautiful. We didn't want for anything. The beds are soooooooooooo comfy! And the fact our little dog was allowed to stay with us was the icing on the cake. Bannockburn Homestays is very close to everything - the parks, the shops, the cafes - absolutely everything! I will tell anyone who will listen that this is the place to stay in Toowoomba. I highly recommend it.

We had a fantastically comfortable stay at Bannockburn Cottage for a couple of days. The position is perfect, being within walking distance to cafe's, Queens Park and town. The fireplace in the lounge room was perfect for our winter stay. We had 9 people stay but 8 would have been more confortable. The owners were very friendly and our stay will be remembered fondly.

Jess is a wonderful host and her accomodation first class. The Cottage is a charming house with a view of the lovely Mothers Memorial. It was cosy and warm, a perfect hideaway from the Toowoomba winter.

Bannockburn Cottage was our home for just one night, but it charmed us immediately. It has all the comforts of home and then some! Brilliantly located opposite the War Memorial Park, it is also just a minute from the magnificent Queens Park, and a comfortable stroll to the Toowoomba CBD. Also an easy walk to Toowoomba Grammar School.||Spotlessly clean, comprehensively equipped and nicely furnished and decorated, it easily sleeps six in three bedrooms, has a fine kitchen, an old-fashioned dining room, three veranda/balcony areas as well as an outdoor seating area. It features NBN and smart TV with DVD library as well as books.||We only have two minor suggestions: the automatic aromatic dispensers were not to our liking, and we couldn't find a heater in the master-bedroom ensuite bathroom (but, there was a heated towel-rail in the bedroom - a nice touch).||We will return!

Fabulously presented, no little detail was overlooked. The cottage was extremely clean and tidy and it was within walking distance to the city, restaurants - everywhere we wanted to go. I couldn't recommend this beautiful cottage highly enough. A++++++++++++++++

A group of twelve descended on this venue on Friday last and the host had it looking a gem. She knew we were coming for a "Christmas in July" but none of us expected the lengths the host went to- Christmas lights, trees, fake snow and so on. We can't thank her (and the husband) enough. The Cottage housed three couples and the Lodge housed four couples but one couple could not come. Both units had a lovely lounge with heating, excellent kitchen, dining and central heating.||The cottage could have another bathroom, but the lodge was perfect.
